Ch.7 Secret Admire

The day went on normally, the faint rumors about Amanda slowly faded by now and I didn't hear anything from Michael's family...

"Sorry I didn't cook lunch today, I got out of the house really early" Alex sighed as we stood in line at the cafeteria

"it's fine~ no big deal" I gave them a small smile as I took out my wallet

"what will you have ?" I asked stopping in front of the multi colored sandwiches

"hmm~ maybe an tuna sandwich" they picked one out and I did the same
"Ah ! Don't forget..I'll crash at your house today" the added smiling wide ,I guess they're super excited about it !

I should probably clean a little~

I walked back to class after last period ended which was P.E , I was drenched in sweat after running around the field, I still got the third place!

Guess my health is getting back on track ...get it hehe ~

Approaching my desk a small envelope rested on the wooden surface...

I laughed a little placing the envelope in my bag and headed out of class...what is this crap? I stood at the school gate waiting for Alex so we can walk home together...

"where are they ?" I glanced at my phone to check the time 3:35 huh~ should I go as the letter said ? That's stupid! What am I getting my hopes up for ?.......fine I'll go !

Taking a turn to reach the back of the school I heard someone talk

"I really like you... so please go out with me" a raspy voice talked, oh ! I'm interrupting someone else!

Guess it was a prank ,just as I was heading back

"u-umm well...this is sudden!" That's... Alex ?!

I took a few steps showing myself to whoever stood behind the school

"Y/N !" Their blue gaze shifted to me and gave a wide smile, they skipped over holding my arm tight bring it to their chest

"sorry ,but I'm in love with this person...so I can't go out with you" Alex smiled with a blush to the person standing in front of us

"thank you for coming!! I thought I'd have to go through this alone !!" Alex chuckle

"I left you the letter I received after lunch, I didn't want to get a love confession so...sorry for using you as an excuse" they rubbed the back of their neck giggling..that's how it is then !! Huh~ I sighed as my body relaxed

"so you didn't mean it!" I won't lie I was really happy for those few minutes so it kinda hurt knowing it's all a lie

"it's the total opposite...I..I meant every word I said" Alex's cheek heated up as they turned red holding my hands gently , biting my lips for a second before I chuckled
