Chapter 20

Nessa's POV:
Marco has the cutest little apartment ever! And he lives by himself because Carlos, his twin brother, lives with Mahogany LOX so no one can interrupt anything tonight! Marco and I cooked dinner for ourselves and we had so much fun making it together! I made spaghetti and Marco made the meatballs. He's such a good cook! We were talking and laughing the whole time while making dinner and once everything was ready, we sat down at his kitchen table and ate together. "This has been really fun so far! Thank you for inviting me over!" I said to Marco before putting a piece of a meatball in my mouth. "I agree! I'm having so much fun with you and I'm very happy I invited you over!" he said and smiled. I blushed a little and smiled after I finished chewing. I'm trying my best to act like a lady if you couldn't tell. This is hard work! How do people do this on a daily basis?!?! "Nessa!" I heard Marco say. Oops! I must have zoned out. I snap back into reality and say, "Yes?" "I just asked if you wanted to watch a movie when we were done eating." he said. "Oh. Yea! I'd love to! Sorry. I was daydreaming." I apologized "It's ok. What were you thinking about?" "You." I accidentally mumbled. I didn't think he heard me but he blushed so I guess he did.

Marco's POV:
Did Nessa really just say she was daydreaming about me? No. I probably didn't hear her right. Why am I blushing? Marco! Stop blushing! Nessa's blushing too. And smiling. I smiled back and said, "Have you had enough to eat?" "Yes thank you!" she said and got up to rinse her plate off. "I got it." I said and took her plate from her. "Thanks!" she said as I put our plates in the dishwasher. "Why don't you go pick a movie for us to watch while I clean up." I said and she nodded and went over to the couch. After cleaning up, I went over and sat next to her on the couch. My apartment isn't very big so I couldn't fit that big of a couch in the living room. It could only fit 2 people so Nessa and I were sitting very close to each other. She decided for us to watch To All The Boys I've Loved Before. I've never seen it and it seems like a chick flick but Nessa wanted to watch it so I'm ok with it. A couple minutes into the movie, I looked over to see Nessa having a hard time keeping her eyes open. She looked really tired so I said to her, "You can lay on my shoulder if that's more comfortable for you." She smiled and rested her head on my shoulder. Soon after, she was asleep. She looks so cute! I turned off the movie and carried her to my bed. "I better text Roni to tell her that Nessa will be spending the night at my house." I say to myself and get my phone.

Roni's POV:
After I ate dinner with Aaron and my parents, we decided to watch a movie together. Half way through, my parents went up to bed because it was getting late. "I forgot about Nessa!" I say while shooting up from laying on Aaron's shoulder. "What about Nessa?" he responds tiredly. "Nessa's been at Marco's house for a long time now. I should probably text her to make sure she's ok." I say and get out my phone. Right as I'm about to text Nessa, I see a message from Marco.

Marco: Hey Roni! Nessa fell asleep so I just wanted to let you know that she's staying here tonight. I promise to keep her safe and I'll bring her to the studio for filming tomorrow.

Roni: Oh ok, thanks Marco! Nessa's really lucky to have you! I'll see you both tomorrow. Make sure you take good care of her and don't do anything stupid!

Marco: I'd never even think about doing anything like that! You don't have to worry about anything. Nessa's safe with me.

Roni: Ok thanks again. Goodnight.

Marco: Np. Goodnight.

End of text convo, still Roni's POV:

It's nice to know that Nessa is safe with Marco. I know they both really like each other so they probably had a lot of fun hanging out tonight. I know I had fun with Aaron. Right now, I'm going to my room with Aaron. He's staying here tonight and tomorrow we're driving to the studio together. "Goodnight Aaron. I love you." I say and snuggle up next to him. "Goodnight Roni. I love you more than you could ever imagine!" he says while putting his arms around me and kissing my cheek. I smile and close my eyes. I really do have the best boyfriend ever! Hopefully he can be mine forever!
