Chapter 40

Nessa's POV:
I run to my car and completely break down. I can't believe he did this to me! And with my own sister! I thought he was different! I trusted him! I loved him! After a few minutes of sobbing in my car, I wipe my tears a little so I can see and drive home. I run upstairs as soon as I get home to check on Roni. I see her smiling in her asleep and Aaron is laying with her. Good. She's ok. I go to my room to just cry and think about my failure of a life. Why do I even try at this point? What's the point of love? What's the point of having a boyfriend just for us to break up after he hurts me? I eventually fall asleep with no tears left to cry.

The next month

Roni's POV:
Today's the day that I get to marry the love of my life!!! I'm super excited but I'm also very nervous. We've been planning this day for so long so it should be perfect but what if something goes wrong! I know it's not too big of a deal if not everything is perfect but I just want my special day to be memorable for everyone. Nessa is my maid of honor (obviously) so she's helping me get ready. The bridesmaids dresses are pretty simple but elegant and they're lavender. After a couple hours of getting everyone's hair and makeup done and putting on our dresses and shoes, it's finally time to go to the church. I can't wait!!!

Aaron's POV:
I can't believe it's finally time to go to the church and see Roni and marry her!!! I feel like I've been waiting for forever!!! I love this girl with all my heart and I can't believe we're gonna be married in a couple hours!!! I ride in a limo with my groomsmen and soon we're at the church. We get out and wait for the girls to arrive. I'm brought into a small room because I'm not allowed to see Roni yet. I'm starting to get pretty anxious. Eventually, I hear a knock on the door. "Are you ready to see your bride to be Mr Aaron Burriss?" a priest asks me. "I'm so ready!" I respond. And that's when I see her. The pettiest most beautifulest girl I've ever seen in my entire life! I just stand there staring at her in awe. How did I get so lucky! I tear up a bit just looking at her and thinking about the fact that she's gonna be mine forever! "Hey Aaron. You ready for this?" she says with her sweet little voice. "Oh yea! Are you ready?" I respond. "Yup! Let's do this!" she says and smiles and I can't help but smile also. When everyone arrives and is seated, we hear the organ start playing and it's time.

Roni's POV:
We get through the whole mass part of it and now it's actually time to get married. "I do" I say when the pastor asks if I truly want to marry Aaron and he says the same when he's asked. "You may now kiss the bride!" Aaron lifts my veil and kisses me passionately. BEST. KISS. EVER. Everyone's cheering and I see some family members crying. I can't believe I'm actually married to Aaron Burriss! I'm the luckiest person in the world! "I love you Aaron." I say as we start walking back down the isle, holding hands. "I love you too Roni." he says back to me. This is the best day of my life! We get some pictures and then go to the reception. We spend the whole night dancing, singing, eating, and talking with our family and friends. It's truly the best night of my life!
