After a while Sai seemed to realise what was going on.
"I-s tha-that...?"
Matt looked up and nodded before looking back towards the dead tiger.
"Oh Merlin, what have I done? Lily..." She said.
Sai sank to the ground before seeming to remember something and standing back up again. She grabbed Lilys body and muttered a spell. With a whip crack they were both gone, leaving Ginny, Harry and Matt behind.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Sais POV🐶~~~~~~~~~
I grew up in a strange house. One parent muggle, one magical. I was raised both ways. I have always love science or potions, I understood it and spent most of my time with my nose buried in a science\ potions work book. Much to my parents delight, I wanted to either become a muggle doctor or continue with magic and become a healer. A few days ago I was reading my favourite magazine 'Healing Weekly' and had stumbled upon a fascinating artical about a highly experimental treatment that, theoretically, could reverse the killing curse. The only problem was I'm not sure if it worked on animagi...or what ever Lily was. Not that I cared about what she was, she was still Lily my best friend, not Lily the animagus. I just hoped that St Mungos shared my views.
Luckily the small shopping centre that St Mungos was in, was closed for the long weekend. Otherwise I would have appeared out of no where and ended up in the middle of a busy shopping centre with a dead tiger. I ran up to the glass and banged against it, the mannequin was not happy, but I didn't care.
"Sai Ridi Mutukulla, and I am here to try that experimental treatment you guys spoke and in Healing Weekly." I said, hurriedly.
I walked through the glass and a little while later, found myself arguing with the head doctor.
"Miss, please calm down , that is a tiger, not a human. We only do the treatment on people."
"AND I TOLD YOU THAT SHE IS A PERSON! WHY WON'T YOU LISTEN TO ME?!"
"Miss please, you're causing a scene."
This made me even angrier.
"OH, I'M CAUSING A SCENE! YOU'RE THE ONE WHO WONT OPERATE ON MY BEST FRIEND!"
"If you can come back with evidence she is a human then we will operate on her, but I cannot give you any medical records without proof that this is, as you say it is, Lily Potter. We can transform her back into a human after I get proof of identity."
I screamed then took a deep breath. I had an idea.
"What if I brought her parents here? Could they be proof? "
The doctors eyes lit up for a second.
"If you could bring the great Harry Potter here then I'd eat my mask. I'm sick of practical jokes. I've had 30 patients this month claiming to be related to Harry Potter."
"Ok, you keep Lily here and I'll go get Harry." I said.
"No, you are not leaving a dead animal here with me. You are probably not going to come back because you know I've caught you in a lie. You teens are all the same."
"Ugahhhh. FINE ILL TAKE HER WITH ME THEN! JUST BE READY WHEN I COME BACK!"
I disappeared with a whip crack sound and reappeared in Lilys bedroom. I grabbed Harys wrist.
"Sorry Sir no time to explain!" I said.
If it were under different circumstances I would be losing it right now, I mean, I'm touching Harry Potter!We reappeared in the middle of St Mungos, right where I had left just moments before. I marched up to the doctor and guestered to Harry.
"LOOK HERE HE IS! YOUR BLOODY PROOF! HARRY POTTER, RIGHT HERE IN THE FLESH! DID YOU WANT SALT WITH YOUR DAMN MASK?" I screamed, I was so done with this guy.
He just stood there for a second. His mouth opening and closing. He reached out a shakey hand and poked Harry's arm.
Harry was obviously broken, his eyes looked empty and his face was tear stained and red. He spoke with a shallow, empty voice.
"W-what is going on?" He asked.
The doctor quickly pulled his hand away.
"I-is this y-your d-daughter S-sir?" He asked, shaken.
Harry looked at Lily and started to cry again, he nodded his head.
I gently put a hand on Harry's arm.
"Sir, I believe this man can save her, all I needed was you to say she was related to you."
Harry stopped crying and looked up, one emotion plain on his face, determination.
He spoke again, but this time is voice was set and rough.
"What do you need Doc?"
The doctor was still a bit taken back but had regained most of his calm composure.
"I just need a few details about your daughters... transformation. Come with me, the girl can come too."
I was disgusted at being called 'girl' after everything I just did. It's true what they say, you should never meet your hero.
Harry and I followed the doctor (famously called Doctor Smith) into a small room with three chairs and a table, the table had a chipboard with paper on it. Lilys body floated past the door and into the procedure room, she was still a Tiger.
Doctor Smith cleared his throat and sat down, guestering for Harry and I to do the same. Once we had sat in the black, plastic, uncomfortable chairs, he cleared his throat again and spoke.
"So, first of all, the reverse animagus spell we usually use isn't working. Any ideas why?"
Harry looked around nervously before speaking.
"Because she isn't an animagus."
"So you lied to us? We have a real tiger?"
"No, if you looked at your damn hospital records you would know."
"Yes Mr Potter, I can see the records. I just don't understand how this happened."
Harry lost it.
"WHY IS THIS ANY OF YOUR DAMN BUSINESS!" He yelled.
Doctor Smith took a deep breath and continued.
"Because, sir, I am not a vet. I can't operate on her if I can't turn her back into a human. And if I can understand the circumstances behind this change than maybe I can figure out a solution."
Harry calmed down a little, he also took a deep breath before continuing.
