Harry took his wife's hand and led her to the bed that Lily was in. When they entered Lily sat up, she looked from Harry to Ginny. The then noticed Ginnys hair and the way Harry was standing. She joined the dots.
"Are you Ginny Potter? My mum?"
Ginny thought she was ready, but nothing could have prepared her for that sentence. The one sentence that conformed that her little girl didn't know who she was.
On the verge on tears Ginny nodded, she sat in one of the chairs and swallowed the lump in her throat.
"Yes Lily, I'm Ginny, your mother."
Lily nodded, again not sure what to do. This woman infrount of her brought back some memories. She could remember her red hair and hear her voice. She was saying different things to her all at once. Some memories of her mother came back, just small pictures of the whole. Like when she was going on a train, or when she was getting a cat, or the time she fell and hurt her arm. And now she remembered something else, a name. Weasly. She closed her eyes and strained to remember something else. She got a face. A pail young man, sprinkled with freakles, bright eyes and a lop sided grin. Then she got a name...Matt. Hoping for more, Lily squeezed her eyes closed and tried to catch something else...But nothing came. She opened her eyes again.
"Dose the word Weasly mean anything to either of you?" She asked.
Before Harry could react Ginny nodded.
"It was my last name before I married your father," she explained, tears in her eyes.
"What about Matt?"
Harry smiled, taking this as a good sign.
"Yes, he's your cousin. You two do everything together, you even went to the same school. Dose Hogwarts mean anything to you?"
Lily closed her eyes again. She inhaled and winced, it felt like someone had put a needle in her temple. All at once memories came flooding back, Hogwarts was a wizarding school, her wizarding school. She got up to a lot of trouble there. Now Lily remembered everything from when she got her acceptance letter to when she graduated. She hugged her parents and told them everything she remembered, even the boring bits. The doctor told them that Lily could leave as long as she was kept under close watch.For a moment Lily was happy, she was content in the now. But her happiness was short lived.
When they reached the shopping centre where St Mungos was hidden Lily suddenly remembered something. Something that had been tugging at her brain since she woke up, the same thing that made her leave the hospital. The thing she had been looking for turned out to be just one word. One word that meant the world to her...Stryker.
She stopped walking as more pieces of the puzzle fell into place. She remembered Sai, her first friend that didnt know her parents. Sai who gave her hot coco on cold nights, she remembered Stryker and Draco getting hurt by Lucius. She remembered everything about the two blonds. She remembered going to save Stryker with her most trusted friends and how it went tragically wrong. How she had to fight tigers while her friends ran and how she came out of the fight, wounded but alive. Lastly she remembered Sai using the killing curse on her, but she wasn't mad. She wasn't even annoyed, she was just sad that she couldn't hug her friend, because she knew how terrible Sai would feel. There was two things she needed to do, and she was pretty sure she knew which came first.
"Mum, dad, can we go to Sais place first?" Lily asked.
"Sure," Harry shrugged.~~~~Meanwhile with Draco and Ron~~~~~
"How many secret places are there in this house?!" Ron yelled.
He was tired and stressed, they had been surching for hours and they were still only on the first floor. Draco was getting more and more anxious as the minutes passed. He knew the chances of his sons survival was decreasing but there was nothing they could do but search and hope.
"I wish Lily was here," Draco muttered.
Ron wished Lily was here too so that he would know that she was ok, but Draco didn't know that Lily was not ok. So why did he want her here?
"Um Draco, why do you wish Lily was here?"
"She came here often, I don't know why. I saw her a lot. She was just checking things and ducking in and out of rooms, pulling books and making maps. I pretended not to notice her but I bet she knows every inch of this place. She would know were Stryker was hidden."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~At Sais house~~~~~~~
Sais mum was waving her wand and making pizza as Sais dad sat at the dinner table across from Sai. He had his hands folded on the table and was sitting up straight as he death stared Sai. Sai sat awkwardly in her seat, no sure what to say.
"So..." She started.
Silence met her attempt at a conversation. She just sat for a while, the only sound being the sizzling and chopping of dinner. Then, just like a miracle, the door bell rang.
"I'll get it!" Sai, said a little too loudly, thankful for an excuse to leave the table.
She jumped up and pulled the door open. She was not prepared for what she saw.
Opening the door I saw Lily and Harry awkwardly standing at the doorstep. Lilys red hair was waving in the soft breeze and she had a smile plastered on her light,freakled skin. It was painful, not that I wasn't thankful that she was alive. It was the fact that she could smile, knowing what I had done, knowing that her friend had almost ended her life. I wanted her to yell. To shout. To rant. To slap me to reality. I deserved it but no. She just stood there with Harry. I couldn't take it anymore. She could say whatever she wanted to say. She could do whatever she wanted to do but I just couldn't help myself. I pulled her into a hug and she hugged me back. I tried not to cry... just managing not to burst into tears.
Then I offered her to come in and have some dinner, still not really believing that Lily was here. We sat down at the table, my parents were slightly annoyed at the intrusion. Ginny, Harry and Lily apologized and asked if it was ok. My parents nodded. Lilys parents told my mum and dad that I had been staying with them for a while because Lily was sick and they apologized that my parents didn't know. Turns out my parents wanted me to move out and Lilys parents were happy to take me in, as long as I paid a bit of rent. So, in a surprising turn of events, I ended up being house mates with Lily.
After dinner I went with the Potters. They dropped me off at their house and went back to Malfoy Manner. I tried to convince them to take me but no one was listening. I just went into the spare room and started to unpack. Little did I know what I was getting myself into, moving in with the Potters.
