~~~~Present time~~Short Ginny POV~~~~~
It had been a few minutes after Harry left with Sai. All I could do was hope that they had a plan and that my little Lily would live. I was sitting on the couch, Matt sat becide me. He looked awkward and sad and confused all at once. Then I heard something, or rather, Matt did.
"Um, Aunty Ginny? Is that Draco's owl?" He asked, pointing to the window.
I was unsure because I had never seen Draco's owl, but I trusted Matt and opened the window. The bird flew in, it was hysterically flying around the room, it was screeching and it wouldn't land. It seemed to be scared.
"Enchantress, land." Matt commanded.
The owl landed, it was thin, dirty, it's feathers where ruffled and some bold patches could be seen.
Matt stroked the bird and muttered reassuring things to it.
"Oh Enchantress, what have they done to you?" He whispered as he untied an old dirty price of paper from it's leg. Scribble in the paper was something that looked like it was written in blood.
'Save my son.'
Matt looked up at me and handed me the small note. As soon as I had read it the blood vanished and words started to write themselves across the page. I read them as they appeared.
'To Ginevra Molly Potter
In case you filthy blood traitors haven't noticed, I have Stryker and Draco under my command. They are being punished for their past and the shame they have brought their family. Your worthless daughter tried to save them but I messed up her little charms. If she survived I'd be thurgoly impressed. I was honestly surprised when she turned into a huge cat. I was worried she might even make it, but her amazing friend finished Lillian off for me. Tell her 'thank you' for doing my work.
The honourable Lucis.'
I finished reading the not and scrunched the paper into a tight ball before throwing it into a corner.
"Can I-?" Matt asked.
I glared at my nephew.
"You don't need to read that. I'm going to do something. I don't know how long I'll be gone and I don't know if I'm going to come back." Matt opened him mouth to speak. "Let me finish. If you see Lilys father tell him that I love him, if you see Lily tell her I'm sorry and tell your parents them them I didn't have a choice. And Matt, remember that you matter."
Before Matt could do anything, Ginny disappeared with a whip crack.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Matt's POV🐾 ~~~~~~~~~~
When Aunty Ginny disappeared I didn't know what to do. I just kinda stood there for a while. After a few minutes I decided to pick up the paper. I unscrunched it and read the letter with tears in my eyes. Now I knew were Aunty Ginny was going and why, this wasn't good. I had to tell someone. I had no idea where Harry was so I apprated to my house, I decided to go there so I could tell my parents first, and because I was anxious to know that they were ok, Merlin, I hoped they were ok. I was standing amongst the ruins of what used to be the burrow, my burrow. The sight of this once mighty house reduced to rubble made tears appear in the corners of my eyes. But I had no time for the luxury of sorrow, my Aunty was in danger. I found my parents, they were hugging each other, it looked like dad was crying. I ran up to them and flung my arms around them.
"Matt! You're ok! Mum yelled as she hugged me back.
"We were so worried about you, you're a very brave but very silly boy. I told you to stay with the Potters until this thing is sorted out, what if Lucius decided to come back?" My dad asked, calmly.
On the verge of tears I looked up at his ash covered face.
"I guess I'm too much like you," I said.
He pulled me closer and after a while we let go of each other. Dad looked at me, confusion crossed his face.
"Matt? Lily told us that you were with Ginny, did something happen?"
Guilty I realised that they didn't know what happened to Lily or anything after.
"Um, I think you should sit down, please." I said, uncertain.
My parents nodded and carefully sat on the ground.
"Well, Lily, Sai and I went to rescue Stryker but Lucius messed with Lilys transportation charm and she ended up having to fight three tigers." I paused. "You following me?" My parents nodded, my mother opened her mouth to speak.
"So three teens decided to go and take on a powerful dark wizard all by themselves and Lily ended up transforming and fighting some tigers?"
I nodded.
"You are so grounded when we get home."
"Can I finish?"
My mum nodded.
"So Lily found us after the fight, she was alive but hurt and still a Tiger so Sai thought she was an actual tiger and... kinda...killed her."
My parents froze.
"S-so L-Lilys..." My mum started saying.
"Let me finish. I took Lily to her house because I thought her parents should know, but Sai took Harry and Lily somewhere. I don't know were they are but I hope it's going to turn out ok. We just have to trust Sai."
My parents nodded.
"Right now though, I think Ginny's in trouble. She got this letter and then just disappeared. I think she's going to go after Lucius."
I handed them the letter and when they had finished reading it my dad spoke.
"Yep, sounds like my sister. Hermione, love, I want you to stay here. I'm going to go get my sister or help her take down Lucius."
"No, I'm going with you! I nearly lost you and I'm not about to lose you again." My mum yelled.
"It'll be easier for me to do this while I know you're safe, please?"
My mum thought for a minute.
"I'll go find Harry and I'll meet you at Malfoy Manner, I'll bring the back up."
Then she disappeared.
My dad turned to me.
"Women." He sighed.
"Matt, you stay out of this, go with your mother but stay with Sai, don't get involved. This is too much for you."
Before I could say anything, he vanished to.
My mother reappeared and looked at me.
"Um, would you happen to know were they might have gone?"
"Maybe the hospital? But dad said I have to come with you and stay with Sai."
My mother nodded and grabbed my wrist before apperating both of us to the hospital.
