Nikkita up the top /\.

There is always a light at the end of a tunnel all I have to do is find it.

To me a name is an identity. To me your identity is a feature. To me your feature is your story. To me your story is your mystery. People know you by your name, your appearance, your voice. Some people know the end of their mystery. I don't know mine but that just makes it a whole lot more interesting.

"Nikki wake up."

I groaned and turned away from the annoying voice in my right ear. I hadn't slept properly for ages and just wanted to sleep in my uncomfortable chair. The familiar sound of a scoff sounded in the air and a hand shook my right shoulder.

"Nikki!"

I groaned and opened one eye to look at the blonde-haired boy beside me. He smirked.

"Silver what do you want."

My best friend, Silver smiled widely. His face widened with the smile, his eyes twinkling under his tussled dirty blonde hair. I sighed and waved him away when he chuckled,

"We are here Nikki."

I snapped my head around, opening both eyes, to look out the window and realized he was right. Our car was parked outside a beautiful two-story house. It was built with red washed bricks and an open vibrant front yard flourished, welcoming us inside. I instantly fell in love with it. The oak trees, leading up the curved path to the front door, swayed with the breeze and the small porch opened up the front, windows wide and open. I felt a finger on my chin and it pushed my jaw up. I realized my mouth had fallen open in shock. Silver chuckled beside me. I swung my hand around his seat and whacked him in the back of the head. He yelped and groaned with his head in his arms. Laughing, it wasn't till he lifted his up to glare at me that I realized I had done wrong.

Oh no.

He growled through gritted teeth,

"Run."

So that's what I did.

I jumped out of Silver's Ute and made a run for it, across the front yard. I heard the thumping of feet behind me and realized he was actually chasing me. I didn't have time to think so being the natural girl I am, I ran faster. Skidding around the side of the house I followed the seemingly endless wall, trying to get away. When I got to a gate, I flung it open as quickly as I could and tried to slam it behind me while still running. It didn't work as I didn't hear the gate rebound, he had probably grabbed it before it could shut. We ran into the back yard, full sprint Silver hot on my tail. Suddenly, I skidded to a stop and visibly gawked at our back yard. It was huge. It was covered in green grass, bright to the eye, a little fire place to the side. I heard the thundering of footsteps behind me and tried to turn but someone crashed into me. Falling to the ground, something really heavy landed on top of me. I yelped but it was cut off by the huge weight on my body. I looked up and saw the sandy blonde hair of Silver. I groaned and he smiled down at me before rolling off me.

"God, Silver you way a ton."

"Just all my muscle Nikki."

I rolled my eyes dusting my clothes off before getting up. I turned to help Silver but he had already gotten up and was currently standing about a meter away ruffling his hair.

"So why in a rush Grey?" I said sarcastically. Silver smiled at the nickname I had given him when we had first met.
