Nikkita's POV-
"Team 11, Diesel! I repeat Team 11 Diesel." At the sound of our name being called, I got up from the hard-stone floor I was sitting on. Stretching my aching muscles, I made my way over to the guy holding the clipboard and pen. I stopped in front of him, crossing my arms, whilst Jay and Silver took their places beside me. He looked up at me moving one side of the headset he had on, away from his ear.
"You Team 11?" I nod my head tightening the strap around my neck and pulling leather gloves over my hands.
"Names please." I stiffen instinctively and look up at him hoping he is bluffing. Surely, he didn't want our real names. The guy stood with his pen poised over his clipboard obviously waiting. A few seconds passed and the boys didn't make any move to help me out of this situation. The man looked up at me.
"You going to give me your names or what? You can't just go out there without your performance names." I sighed in relief my knees nearly caving on me. Jay now seeing my situation stepped forward and spoke for all three of us.
"I am Red, Silver-" He pointed at Silver,
"-and Hazel." He pointed at me and I watched as the man scribbled down our "names."
"Interesting names where did they come from?" Jay shrugged,
"Childhood." The guy nodded before motioning to the ramp.
"Just go up there and to your left you will see three platforms your equipment will be there on your platform ready to go. What's gonna happen is that when it comes to your turn you will stand on your platform equipment ready and you will be lifted together. If you want to be lifted differently in the future talk to the stage-hand he can organise it. The second your platform hits the top your 3 minutes' start, any problems?" I shook my head and so did Jay.
"Uh yeah is there free food afterwards?" I held in my chuckle as the man in front of us turned to look at Silver,
"No there isn't."
"Aw what a shame." I couldn't hold it in any longer. A giggle escaped my mouth and the guy looked at me weirdly. Seeing the look on his face made me shut up completely. Dammit, I'm meant to be a guy, guys don't giggle. Thankfully I was saved by his headset when someone called in.
"Right you guys are up. Don't break a leg and good luck." I put on my deep voice,
"Thanks mate see you after." He nodded his head respectively before turning to continue his job. I hesitated before making my way up the ramp and turning left. I felt Silver and Jay right behind me as we followed the concrete slanting pathway into a smaller but more situated room. Three metal platforms sat one after the other in a row. Our three bikes stood on each. Silver for Silver was closest, Gold for me in the middle and red for Jay at the end. A man walked over to us. His shirt stretch tight over his broad defined form and his face was set in a neutral expression sharp jaw taut. Looking at his face I stared confused. He looked exactly like the guy from the front. But instead of having sparkling amused golden eyes his eyes were a shaded emerald, melting into a intimidating expression. He held out his hand to shake mine, but Jay stepped in taking his hand instead. He looked between us two before letting go and adjusting his body to speak to me as well as Jay,
