We must let go of the life we planned to accept the one waiting for us.

Nikkita's POV-

"Nikki!" I grumbled looking up from my phone to see Silver rushing down the stairs with a frown on his face.

"Yeah what's up Grey?" I sat up from my position, spread across the couch, slightly worried.

"I can't find my snapback hat!" I rolled my eyes, concern gone, and laid back down on the couch, going back to my phone, ignoring him.

"Nikki this is important!" I groan in annoyance before looking back up at him, giving him my best glare. He fidgeted under my gaze and I gave up.

"Try the car Grey" He nodded before jumping up and running over to the front door in haste. I went back to the game I was playing on my phone and started the next level.

"Nikki what are you doing?" I glanced up at Jay before back at my phone furiously tapping and swiping the screen. I poked my tongue out in concentration flat out ignoring him,

"Nikki!"

"What!" I yelled concentrating on the game. Suddenly my phone was snatched from me and I gasped. My poor game I was so close. I jumped up and tackled the person who had stolen my phone. A yelp, thud and crash later I was sitting on top of Jay who held my phone his hand. He looked up at me panting for breath and a surprised but humoured expression on his face.

"What the hell did you do that for Jay!"

"Jesus Hazel," he managed to wheeze out. I grabbed my phone stubbornly before hauling myself up and off of him making sure to be as harsh and tough as I could as I did it.

"Next time don't take my phone while I'm trying to beat the world, Red." He snorted getting up off the floor and dusting off his pants.

"Yeah beating the world in Flappy Bird."

"Yes, Red it is very important!" I exclaimed in half mock seriousness and half annoyance. He shook his head, smiling, before turning to the staircase and taking two at a time.

"Oh yeah I came to tell you it's 12.30 at night shouldn't you get some sleep." I groaned weighing my options. Get some sleep and be happy and bouncy in the morning, don't sleep and be gloomy with a side of pain in the ass. Choosing option number one, I shut my phone down before following him upstairs. Mumbling to myself about pancakes and my new father Jay, I made it to my room just before collapsing, falling on my bed. I hear heavy footsteps make their way up the stairs and stomp down the corridor. For some reason, they stop. I don't look away from the spot I'm staring at on the ceiling. It was an interesting spot. Rougher and uneven compared to the rest of the paint. Unique.

"Thanks Hazel I found it." Snapping out of my mental discussion I looked down and see Silver in my peripheral vision. I shrug my shoulders,

"No problemo Grey." I think he nodded before turning and walking down the hallway to his room, but I couldn't be sure because I was too lazy to contemplate. Looking back up at my spot I started to think about my day. Getting up in the morning, getting into the car looking like a zombie, stopping at the petrol station and nearly setting the car on fire, listening to Silver's horrible/good singing (depending on his mood) and lastly I think about Mr. Blue Eyes and the motorbike arena. We did well I think; we didn't mess up and we performed some rather good tricks and stunts. My mind turned back to Mr. Blue Eyes and I realised I hadn't stayed to watch him perform. Yawning and my eyes drooping I made a mental note to watch him next time. With his Blue Eyes in my mind I fell into a deep sleep.
