The two spent the whole day at the park, disregarding all the rides and attractions, completely determined to find Peter.
After receiving help from a kind employee, Elenora with an oddly placed bandage on her nose, set off.
"Do you want to get a drink? It's hot and we need water." Kate suggests.
Elenora looks around dejectedly. No Peter Pan in sight. "Yeah," she mutters. "I guess it would be a good idea to get some water."
The pair head into a gift shop, looking for the heavenly fridge with water.
Along the way, Elenora spots something that makes her jaw drop.
A shirt with Peter Pan on it. It contained the words 'Never Grow Up' and a silhouette of Peter and Wendy flying in the night over the moon.
"Katherine," Elenora says, barely able to speak in more than a whisper. "I need this."
She grabs the shirt and holds it up for Kate to see.
Kate snickers. Sometimes, she could only love and laugh at how adorable and innocent her best friend was.
"Well, do they have your size?" Kate wonders.
Elenora turns, vigorously searching for her size. After a few moments, Elenora turns back around, beaming. Shirt in hand, she rushes to grab a few bottles of water then to the counter.
"Fan of Peter Pan, huh?" The man behind the counter asks, looking at the shirt.
Elenora beams. "Ever since I can remember!"
The man smiles and rings them up. Elenora hands him her card, cringing slightly at the price of everything. Thankfully it was all coming from her parents, but she still felt bad for spending so much money.
"Are you going to change into that now or tomorrow?" Kate asks.
Elenora looks at her phone, checking the time. "It's late, even if I did put it on now, I would have to wear a different one tomorrow." She says sadly.
"Ella, we leave tomorrow. Just put it on now."
With that reminder, Elenora quickly rushes to the nearest bathroom - thankfully it was close - and into a stall.
The shirt fit perfectly, tight around the middle but looser sleeves as to not cut off the circulation.
As she emerged from the stall, Kate stands in front, smiling at her friend. "You look cute." She says, making Elenora laugh.
"Think Peter will think so?" She asks hopefully.
Kate rolls her eyes. "This might have become an obsession, you know. I mean, you're even following him around everywhere too. Stalker."
Elenora jokingly pushes Kate and heads down the street, looking for her lover boy.
After two hours of searching, one stop for a snack and water, and a lot of desperation, Elenora finally found him.
"Katherine!" Elenora squeals, gripping her friends shoulder and jostling her around like a puppy with a new chew toy. (RIP Kate's arm) "It's him!"
