Second Part of a two part chapter.
Cora stashed the rest of her cigarette's in her jacket pocket. We began walking in a random direction.
"So.. let me get this straight." She took in a deep breath. "So Lance lied to me, I got that part. But this Signe girl made Jack bisexual..?" She asked. I nodded. "And now everything is tense. Poor Ari. She has to deal with this, and she's only seven."
"I think she is doing alright. I mean has she broke down in tears yet?"
"No, but I don't think she's that age where she feels the need to cry at everything." I remember when I was eleven and used to cry at the smallest thing. "Or.. maybe she is."
Cora made a 'Tsk' like noise. I mean, she had a little brother, what was she to say that I didn't know mine? I rolled my eyes.
"So.. um... Lily." Cora said. Her voice went from being light and cheerful, to being.. not necessarily serious, but a little less Cora.
"Hm?"
"Lance asked me out!" There was the Cora I knew. The happy one, the cheerful one. The surprisingly loud one.
"He... did?" My voice was gone. Just barely above a whisper, barely a sound at all. Now I was confused. He liked me... but liked Cora? Was he lying to me... or to Cora? Was he lying to both of us? Was my best friend lying to my bestest friend?
"What-what did you say?" I faltered once more. My body was just not accepting this moment. If my friend said that she liked him back (which I believe she did) then everything was gone. It would be too awkward to know her. If she said she didn't like him, then everything would be messed up for the whole gang.
"I told him I wasn't interest-!"
"WHAT!?"
"I said I wasn't interested. I'm not really looking for a romantic partner at the moment." She shrugged. I was at a lost for words. I was almost certain her and Lance were, if not made to be, then at least date for a while and still remain good friends. I guess I was wrong.
"Oh." I mumbled.
She giggled and gave off a bright grin. She pulled out another cigarette and lit it. After taking a drag, she rolled her eyes. "Besides, he fucked you over. I'm not dating someone who hurts my friends."
I had to grin, no wonder she was my best friend.
"At least something good came of tonight."
"Oh yeah? What is it?"
"I got some justice. Lance was denied twice. Both times by the girls he played, if played is even the right word to use." I shrugged. Some justice was better than none.

I didn't sleep that night. It wasn't a good night. I was tossing and turning, and ended up scrolling on YouTube at about three in the morning. I didn't watch anybody really. Sometimes Mark and Jack, sometimes LDShadowLady, or LaurenZside, and sometimes Dan and Phil. I didn't watch YouTube too often, but after recently realizing it was a lot more than it lead out to be, I started watching it again.
I never really watched Beauty or DIY/Art channels because I found them purely boring. I liked watching some reacting videos, like Kyutie or SSSniperwolf. But, I might be biased because Lia is my friends mom.
I loved gaming channels. I'll tell you that. They were and are my favorite channels, and people, because most gaming channels are really entertaining. I love watching people play video games and just narrating it. Its really fun for me.
I guess that's how I first started even watching Markiplier, and Jacksepticeye. Probably the first, and last people I watch on YouTube. My own fucking fathers. Cliché I guess.
