LETS GO FOR A

WALK DOWN

EASY STREET

-

millie hadn't made any progress.

she had been walking around for two hours, searching for something that could show any sign of hiding something, but she hadn't found anything. it was just house after house after house and she was starting to get annoyed.

well, more annoyed than she already was.

no- she was mad. she was mad at finn and she was mad at herself.

she shouldn't have freaked out on him like that, but at the same time she felt like he deserved it.

why wouldn't he want to know who he knew in his past? why wouldn't he want to know if she was in his life? millie couldn't help but feel a little offended.

was it that he just didn't care?

or was he not telling her something?

-

noah got back to the house, and he went into his room and slammed the door. he needed some time to think, he needed to let all of this sink in, because he was confused. he didn't understand what was going on. but at the same time, it felt all too familiar and he couldn't bare not knowing why.

the note, the fear that bubbled inside of him like a pot of boiling water, the... the anger at the person who thought they could just do this to them and get away with it.

it was definitely not cool.

he wanted to know who was behind this so he could talk some sense into them.

more like punch some sense into them.

no, no violence.

it never did anyone any good.

noah heard the front door close, he walked out of his room, taking a deep breath, and walking out to see everyone already looking in his direction.

"guys i-" he started, being cut off by malina, "noah. what's going on?" she asked with a look of worry. he let out a shaky sigh and walked over to the couch, taking a seat. the others sat down next to him in an uncomfortable silence, waiting to hear what he needed to say. "t-this whole... situation, it all seems way too familiar," he stated, "a-and i can't help but feel like this happened in my past life- because we can't remember anything, but this..... this seems too familiar to just be a thought. i-i don't know, but i just have this really terrible feeling in my stomach and it won't go away." noah stuttered, almost crying.

loren exhaled, a million thoughts flowing through her head.

this felt familiar to her too.

it was all so strange. she had felt this way before, only once though and it scared her. loren didn't say anything, not yet. she wanted to be sure this was the same feeling it was before.

so she just sat there quietly, trying to figure out why this felt familiar too.

-

finn was starting to get nervous.

he was pacing back and forth, thinking of all the things he could've said to millie instead of what he actually said to her.

of course, he didn't mean any of it and of course he wanted to know if millie was in his past life.

he was just scared.

finn wasn't sure of what to expect, he didn't know if the note was fake and was made to mess with them. he wanted to believe that was true, but he didn't have a good feeling about this.

any of it.

he was worried about millie.

what if she was in danger??

what if someone is hurting her?

what if she got herself into something that she can't get out of?

"finn would you stop pacing!?" iris shouted, startling finn. he scoffed. "well i'm sorry if i'm worried about my girlfriend who just went off on a search for our MEMORIES!" he shouted back. iris didn't say anything, instead she heavily sighed, and went back to what she was doing.

the door opened, and everyone's head turned.

it was just caleb.

he went to look for millie, but he didn't find her.

"i searched everywhere. i don't know where she could be." he said, frustrated with himself for not being able to find millie and talk her out of her stupid actions.

sadie walked up to him and embraced him with a hug. "it's ok caleb. you tried your best." she whispered. he rested his head on top of hers, pulling her closer and sighing.

finn licked his lips, "lillis. come with me. we're going for a walk." he got up and off of the couch, pulling a beanie over his messy curls and put on a sweater. "o-ok." sophia said, closing her journal and zipping her sweater up, and following finn out the door.

it was quiet for the first few minutes, apart from the soft sound of the pencil on the paper. finn spoke up, "d-do you think she's ok?" he asked, looking down at the short haired girl. sophia closed her journal again and met eyes with finn's brown ones, she gave him a small genuine smile. "i know she is. millie is strong and independent. from what i've seen, when she says she's going to do something, she won't stop until it's done." sophia spoke.

"i sure hope so." he whispered.
