Prompt: I wanna see more of Ray and little Silas, maybe one of the first trip Ray took Silas on?
A.N.- I know you wanted Silas's POV, but I did it mostly in Silas's perspective, I hope that's okay! It was just a little easier to write it that way. Also, sorry, it's been a year or two since I last visited the Falls so I did my best. And also sorry, because I just finished writing this, and it got away from me a little whoops

Silas looked up at the hotel as Ray pulled into the parking lot. Silas had been staring out of the window the entire trip to Buffalo. Ray put the car in park and looked back at Silas.
"You doing okay? It's going to be a long day. We're getting our stuff in the hotel room and then driving to the Falls," he said.
Silas nodded, getting out of the car with his backpack. Ray got out as well, popping the trunk. He and Silas grabbed their suitcases and went into the hotel.
Silas stared in wonder at how fancy it was. Ray went up to the desk to check them in, and Silas wandered the hallway, suddenly too afraid to touch anything in here. It was nicer than even Ray's house was. Silas had never stayed in a hotel before. He'd never imagined they'd look so nice inside.
"Silas," Ray called, gesturing him over. "Come on, kid. We've got to get to our room."
Silas followed Ray, and the two went to the elevators. An older couple hastily moved to hold the elevator door open for them.
"Thanks," Ray said, grabbing Silas's shoulder and lightly pushing him into the elevator.
It was really the most Silas would allow. He let Ray touch his shoulders, but if Ray's grip felt too strong, Silas would shove him off.
Ray checked the time. "Alright Si, my friends will be here in the next few minutes. Once everyone is checked in, we're back in the car for a bit."
"But...we're stayin' here tonight?" Silas said. He wondered if the rooms would be as nice as the hallway.
Ray nodded. "Yea, I got a room with two beds so you can have your own. We'll probably be walking all day tomorrow, so enjoy the car while you've got it."
"Vacation?" the older man asked.
"Yea, meeting with some friends out here and decided to make a vacation out of it. We're heading to the Falls in a bit," Ray said. "It's his first time seeing them."
"Oh, Niagara Falls is lovely," the older woman said. "We used to bring our kids to the Canadian side when they were young. I'm sure your son will love it."
"He's not my-" Ray sighed and just offered a smile. "Yea, he'll like it, I think. Good view. He doesn't have a passport, so we'll be on the American side."
The elevator doors slid open and Ray said goodbye to the couple, leading Silas out and down a quiet hallway. He opened a door and went into the room, flicking the lights on.
Silas stared in surprise. There were two good sized beds, and the room was quaintly decorated. There was a little bathroom off to the side, and a large TV across from the beds. The window on the other end of the room showed a surprisingly nice view of the city.
