Narrators POV

The light sound of Clementine's slight snoring echoed into Violet's ears. She squinted her eyes and looked around to find she had her arms wrapped around her girlfriend. Smiling, she kissed Clem's ear and slowly unwrapped herself from the jungle of limbs.

The girl groaned and held Violet tightly. So tight that Violet thought she had lost circulation in her arms.

Looking out the slightly boarded up window, Violet could see the sun had risen quite high. It might of been around 10am , and now she had to wake up her tired and whining girlfriend.

"Baaaaabe. Time to wake uuuuup!" Violet whispered into Clementine's ear. The girl pretended to be asleep but she could tell Clementine was resisting as a shaking shiver spread through her body as she struggled to not smile.

After a few seconds Clementine re-opened her eyes and leaned her head over to Violet, who was sitting up on the bed fixing something on her shirt.

Taking the opportunity, she quickly sits up and wraps her arms around Violet. Her arms slithering down around to her waist.

Clementine cutely plopped her head down onto Violet's right shoulder and kissed her cheek.

"I'm up I'm up. Let's go eat and do what we have to do for the day."

Violet smirked and went to kiss Clementine, but her girlfriend knew her too well as she quickly dodged her almost perfect face and sprinted out the door.

"Hey! I was gunna kiss you!" Violet yelled out with a whine.

"You can still get it if you can catch me!" Clementine's voice echoed from down the hall, the sound of her feather like footsteps easily heard from the bedroom.

Violet rolled her eyes playfully and chased after her, rushing down the stairs in a rush to catch her fit and fast girlfriend.

When the blonde made it to the breakfast table, she saw Clementine smiling widely as her and AJ sat down. She was explaining something to the boy by using expressive hand moment.

She looked childlike. Happy, giggling. Normal.

"Hey! You beat me by like a mile! Shit... I need to work on my cardio." Violet says half jokingly, sitting down to the right of Clementine at the table, as AJ was on Clementine's left.

Clementine giggled as Omar handed out the porridge like substance in bowls. Clem had to admit his cooking was one of the best she had seen. Considering that she had only seen a few people in her lifetime cook, apart from her parents and a few adults

As the teenagers ate at the different wooden tables, Violet decided to drop a little bomb onto Clementine.

"Hey Clem. This may not be the news you probably want to hear right now.... but.... Gabe escaped yesterday. We don't know how, because he was way to weak to kick the basement door down, plus it was locked and every other entrance."

Clementine's jaw locked into place. "Well. He most likely was eaten by walkers since he didn't have any weapons anyway."

Violet nodded in agreement, smiling to herself at the thought of Gabe being eaten by walkers.

"Hey little lovers! You two may be the cutest thing I've ever seen but we have a huge problem over here!"

The two girls were interrupted by Louis yelling over to them at the gate. A walker hoard, in the hundreds was bashing against the strong gates.
