Dear Caslon,
I have so much to say to you. I'm not sure if you still hate me or not, our last encounter wasn't the most forgiving. But I know you'll still probably read this entire letter, after all, you don't have to reply. We've both had our rights and our wrongs, our wrongs being what made up most of our journey. I don't know if you ever found out, but Riley showed me some of your journal entries. I know. I know now.
It came to a surprise; I never thought you'd ever do that. You seemed so against my help at times that I didn't see it coming. I can't believe you would have told me you loved me, especially when you didn't. Coming from a person like me, I suggest you never break another girl's heart like that.
And though my memory of you was left on that note, I will apologize for my mistakes. Helping Riley run away was not my place and I know for a hundred percent that hurt you. Though looking back, I don't regret it. Because somewhere in my heart, I hope that my actions have changed you too.
You can be mad all you want, Caslon, it'd be my pleasure. I just wanted to let you know that meeting you was no waste of my time. I used to be so ashamed of the person I was and of the things I did. Luckily, meeting you changed that. I can't give a true reason to tell you why, but you have and that's all you need to know. I honor you, Caslon. You are like no other. I'd tell you to never change, but in all honesty, you should. For the better, obviously.
I sort of miss you. I wish I could see you and Riley again; you both are so important to me. Though your stay had been overdue and I'm glad we've both let go.
This is the part where I'd insert my undying love for you or something as cheesy as that. But you know that's not me. Learn a lesson from me and just stay out of trouble, alright?
Sincerely,
VexP.S. remember that favor you owe me since I agreed to go to your family dinner? Well, if we ever see each other again - by fate if that's what you'll call it - then I still want that favor.
