Chat Noirs Point of View
"B-boyfriend?" Her stutter made me want to envelop her into a hug even more. But I couldn't. I had to remember that at the moment, she wasn't my Marinette. Hopefully, one day she'd become mine again. But for now, all I could do to push her in the direction I wanted her to go was to lie to her.
"Yes," I looked down at her. Her bluebell eyes stared right into mine, seeming to look directly into my soul. "So we were quite close."
Her eyes widened, and I noticed that her cheeks were turning a shade of red. Does that happen to anyone else or is it just me, because i turn red every ten minutes 😳. "What was Marinette like?"
"You mean what were you like?" I chuckled, but stopped immediately when I saw her shaking her head no. "Oh," I decided not to press further. She'd accept who she was during her own time. "Well, Marinette was very talented, like you. She was also very kind, strong, caring, and one of the best people I've ever met, like you." I made sure to include the similarities to help Mari see.
She nodded. "Go on,"
I gave her a small smile. "There were some things to her that I think are different from you, but that's probably because I've never seen them before, but you could still be even more si-"
"Just get to the list already." She cut me off.
I looked at her with admiration in my eyes. She was acting as confident as let's say, Ladybug, at the moment, and it really made me appreciate her more. "Well, from what I can tell, you are more confident and open minded." The corner of her mouth twitched up a bit, encouraging me, "But Marinette seemed to care more about other people's feelings, not that you don't care about people's feelings, it's just that she seemed to be the single person who cared the most, unless you were Chloe. But she was really into fashion, things like designing and sewing clothes, and I haven't really seen that interest in you."
Her mouth had fallen back into a frown and she was looking at me blankly. "You were really in love with her weren't you?" I nodded. "Well I'm not her, as clearly stated by you, so please get out of my room."
My heart started hurting. She didn't think I loved her? She thought that this was her room? Her room was above the bakery. Obeying her wishes, I leaped outside of the window and closed it behind me, staying outside for a moment. But that moment was all it took for me to hear the most heart wrenching sound I could've heard,
My Princess crying.
Omg, I feel soooo bad about not updating last Wednesday! It was the week off school, and without having to write the date 50 times a day, I didn't realize it was Wednesday till it was Thursday. And I'm also sorry for the shorter chapter, but I do have school tomorrow 😔.
I was tagged recently, but I feel like I have taken up enough time writing this chapter and will most likely do it next update.
Since my phone is having internet problems, I will have to pull this RFF from Pinterest...
RFF: TAG (the game you probably used to play when you were kids) stands for Touch And Go.
This still freaks me out. It, like, changes my entire childhood and makes me want to question everything is existence, do you guys feel that?
Love ya guys! 🦄
