Adriens Point of View

I saw her.

Black hair flying loosely against her back as she sat on the bench in the park.

I started running to the park. I couldn't wait to see her beautiful face again!

I quickly turned to the bench she sat on only to see her face blank and lifeless.

Her eyes were glazed over as if paint had been splashed upon them, her mouth slightly parted.

She wasn't moving, wasn't blinking, I don't even think I saw her breathing,

But what scared me the most, was the red liquid dripping out of the side of her head.

I couldn't do anything as her body fell over onto the bench, the horrible blood stained bench.

I reached out and touched the side of her head.

It was cold.

Cold enough to make me draw my hand away.

Cold enough to crack my heart even further.

Lifelessly cold.

I started screaming and crying at the same time, trying to get the cold, lifeless girl in front of me to wake.

I knew she wouldn't.

She'd never wake again.

———————-

I sat up still screaming in bed, my body covered in sweat. I looked around, I was in my room. It was only a dream, but it felt so real. I don't even remember going to sleep. But she looked so real! I saw something on my bedside table and picked it up.

It was a note written in neat and even handwriting:

Adrien,
Your father has been worrying about your recent behavior. This should help. You'll get one a day, it will hopefully make your condition better.
-Natalie

I looked back to the table to see a single white and blue pill resting on it with a glass of water a small distance from it. Without thinking about it, I took the pill and took a gulp of water after it went down. Maybe this would help me move on from the girl, it was painful to think of her. Putting my head back on the pillow, I closed my eyes and gave in to the depths of sleep.

—————

I cracked my eyes open to see the sun starting it's climb into the sky. I felt strangely light and happy. I swung my legs over my bed and pulled on some clothes. After I was dressed and everything was taken care of, I grabbed my book bag and raced downstairs to eat breakfast. After I ate that alone, I started towards the front door, but was blocked by Natalie and my father talking in front of it. They turned to me as I approached the door, ready to get to school.

"Son," my father started, I could see what I thought was worry filling his eyes. I wonder why.

"I've got to get to school." I chirped, feeling happy to see my friends again.

He looked like he was about to say something else, but instead sighed and stepped to the side, allowing me to exit my house and hop in the limo which drove all the way to school.

The moment I stepped out, Nino and Alya ran towards me and both tackled me in a hug.

"Adrien, I was so worried about you, dude!" Nino said, squeezing me tight.

I furrowed my eyebrows, "Why would you be worried?"

Alya spoke this time. "Because you haven't been to school since the incident with Marinette." I heard sadness lace her voice as she slowly pulled away and looked down.

"Who's Marinette?" I felt myself asking while I searched my brain for any memory of that name.

They both looked at me like I was crazy, but the bell rang at that moment, so I headed to class.

"Adrien, so glad you could finally join us." Ms.Bustier said as soon as I stepped through the door. I had started for here early, yet I still managed to be the last one here. "Please have a seat." Several of my classmates got up to greet me, but Ms.Bustier waved them down. I noticed that the seat behind me had flowers on the desk and the seat was empty. I don't remember it being empty. Someone used to sit in it but I couldn't remember who. Was it the Marinette person Alya mentioned?

Ms. Bustier cleared her throat, drawing all attention away from me and to her. I quietly slid into my seat. "We have a new student joining us today." She stated, causing several excreted murmurs across the class. "Please come introduce yourself." She said in the direction of the door.

It was silent as a female student shyly walked into the room. She had long brown hair that came to her mid back and light brown eyes. Her overall face structure looked familiar but I couldn't figure out why.

"Hello," Her voice was pretty deep, but suited how she looked. "My name's Bridgette."

Yay! I finally updated! I went ahead and made this chapter pretty long for you guys! Please comment your thoughts on Bridgette!

RFF: The country of Brazil is named after the brazil nut.

I thought it was the other way around! I guess it's like an orange, is it named after the color or the fruit? I know I've heard the answer, but can't seem to remember it. Hmm...

Oh, and my friend has recently started Wattpad, her username is LillieRoseFrost so if you would read her story and offer your support, I'm sure she'd be very thankful as will I.
