Chapter 3: Hospital

*Amiyah*

I ran down the steps as I heard yelling from the kitchen. When I walked in I seen my dad on the floor holding his side with a puddle of blood. Isaiah, Malcolm, or Serenity were no where in sight.

"Oh my gosh! Dad! What happened!?" I asked fighting back the tears.

"H-Hospital... please..." Was all he said before his eyes shut.

"NO! MANI! GET MY KEYS & CALL 911! HURRY!" I yelled trying to pick up my dad.

-Hospital-

I just sat there shaking my head & leg violently. Emani had her head down crying silently & shaking her head as well.

Some police walked in & sat down across from me & Emani.

"Hello , lady's . I'm Officer Williams & this is my partner , Officer Adams . We're gonna need to take you guys down to the station & question you." One of them said. Emani shot her head up quick.

She let out a sarcastic laugh. "Why would we leave our dad, after he was just STABBED BY A CRAZY ASS BITCH!?" Emani yelled, now everybody there was looking our way. SHIIIT!

"Emani, please calm down." I said calmly.

"NO! FUCK THAT! WHY T'F WOULD WE LEAVE OUR FATHER AT A FUCKING TIME HE NEEDS US THE MOST?!" She yelled.

"Young lady, we're going to need you to calm down. Their are doctors here to look after him." The other officer said.

"FUCK THE DAMN DOCTORS! THEY'RE NOT US ! HE NEEDS US TO BE HERE & SUPPORT HIM ! ARE THEY GONNA DO THAT ? NO! I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE UNLESS I KNOW HE'S OKAY ! SO FUCK OUTTA HERE WITH THAT BULLSHIT! IF YOU WANNA ASK US QUESTIONS THEN ASK THEM HERE! 'CAUSE I SURE AS HELL AIN'T LEAVING!" Emani yelled. I shook my head at her.

"Please, just ask the questions here. If you don't, then you're not getting any answers from us." I said & sighed. I hate hospitals.

The officers sighed. "Alright, fine." One of them said.

"Thank you." I smiled. Emani whispered under her breath, "Bout damn time." I just shook my head at her.

"Okay, who was in the house when everything happened?" They started.

"First it was my brother Isaiah, his friend Malcolm, some lady named Serenity, me & her." I say & point to Emani. "Then later on our dad came home." I added. They wrote down something in their notepad thing.

"Okay, do you know who stabbed your father. & why?" The other asked.

"I believe Serenity did, & why? I'm not really sure , but I believe it was because they were going to get married, but he called off the wedding after he seen a video of her & me fighting." I explained. They both had questioning looks on their faces.

"Why were you two fighting?" He asked.

I took a deep breath. "I called her a hoe, she called me a bitch, & we got to arguing . I got tired of her mouth & we started fighting. She slapped my brother & I don't like that, that was another reason. She's-""Here . That's the video of everything." Emani said cutting me off. We sat back & watched their faces through the whole thing.

"Do you know who she is?" They ask surprised.

"Serenity . That's all we know ." Emani said shrugging.

"No, her name is Veronica Stevens. She's wanted in 5 states, for numerous amounts of things." One says.

"So, uh, is there a reward for her capture?" Emani asked. I punched her arm hard. "Ow, dammit. Why'd you do that?" She asked rubbing her arm.

"That was rude." I whisper yelled.

"So." She said. I rolled my eyes.

"So..." She trailed off waiting for a response.

"Actually,yes. $20,000 is rewarded for her capture." They say.

Me & Emani: O_O

"Family of Derek Davis." A nurse asked. Me & Emani shot up out our seats & rushed over to her.

"How is he? Is he okay? Can we see him? How long are visiting hours? Emani asked eagerly. I shook my head & waited for the nurses response.

"He's..."

Cliffy again. Just thought I'd do a quick lil update for ya'. School starts in 2 days, & this will be my last year in middle school. YAY! I'm gonna update as soon as possible. Maybe tonight or tomorrow... who knows? *laughs devilishly* Okay, so, Some crazy shit happened huh? Yeah, I know. Welp keep reading thanks. Til the next chappie...
