Ch 14 : School

"So .. What's up with you & Malcolm ?" I asked Carson , ignoring her childishness .

"That's my baby , man . Like he's so sweet & funny & fun .. Just amazing . I mean I already knew that about him but being in a relationship verses a friendship , I get to see different a side of him . The more romantic side ," she answered sounding happy as hell .

"Aw . I wish I had that , shii I need that ," I said .

"You don't get that from Terrell ?"

"Mmm speaking of him . Let me tell you about yesterday . So you know after our date Saturday he wanted to talk heavy .." I trailed off cause I knew she didn't know .

"I didn't know actually & you will be telling me after this story ."

"Okays . So yesterday I asked if he wanted to go with us to dinner to meet daddy's new "friend" .. He said yeah . Tell me why when I called him to let him know we we're finna leave , I hear a female voice in the back & he's breathing heavy ."

"The fuck ?" She said looking confused .

"Exactly . I brushed it off though but anyways he told me wasn't going to be able to make it . Hmm I wonder why ? So I said okay & that was that . So we at dinner talking & everything & daddy's date son was flirting with me . He in college , too , playing football & basketball . Girl he was bout fine . That's another story though . So anyways , Terrell walks in while dude flirting & shii & speaks to my father like shii coo . The fuck ? Ain't shii coo . I kept my chill though . So he texts me at dinner asking why I'm acting a way . I told him I'll tell him at night . I called him & told him why last night . I told him I lost my feelings & everything , bruhh . I was just finna be done . He started crying on the phone ."

"Crying ? Like boo hoo tears ?" she asked .

"Damn near it . I told him man up & stop . He begged for my forgiveness .. I didn't really forgive him but I told him I'll see him today ," I said finishing this story .

"Girrrrl .. I wonder who the girl was ? If you find out , are you gone beat her ass ?" she asked hyping the situation up .

"Nah . It ain't that deep . I think I kinda know who it is anyway .."

"Who ?" she asked jumping up .

"Queen hoe . Duhh ." I said pulling into Emani's school parking lot .

"True . He gone catch a disease keep fucking with her ." she said as I drove to our school .

I couldn't help but laugh . "I'm serious . His bottom lip gone fall off ," she said in a serious way . I started laughing so hard .

"You a damn fool , bruhh ." I said turning into the school .

We got out & headed to the building . When we got in , we went to the lobby where we were met by Malcolm , Drew , Isaiah , & Ari . The guys seemed a little distant from Ari but I didn't really pay it any mind .

I said my heys & gave my hugs then we all just stood & talked about whatever . After a few minutes Terrell & his friends came over . They said wassup & gave the guys dap or whatever . Of course he stood beside me & put his arm around me . I could see the look Carson was giving him .

Ariane looked a little happy to see Terrell , but when he didn't hug or speak to her , she looked kinda mad & hurt . She looked a little more mad when he put his arm around me . I wonder what that's about .

"So anyway , I got a childhood friend who moved back a few days ago & she will be going here . She'll be here later though ," Drew announced .

"What's her name ?" I asked .

"Skylar ."

"Skylar Daniels ? Didn't she move in like 7th grade ?" Carson asked .

"Yeah that's her ."

"I remember her . You had the biggest crush in her . But she was a little geeky back then ," I said .

"Nothing is wrong with her now , though . She doesn't wear pig tails or glasses anymore ," he said .

The bell rang & we all departed to class . Terrell offered to walk me , but I declined .

When I walked in , Ari was sitting in my seat .

"Hey , you're in my seat ," I told her .

"I'm not moving ," she said looking up at me .

"Why not ?" I asked .

"Don't have to ."

"What's up with you today ? You've been acting funny .."

"I'm tired of you hoes taking my men !" she yelled .

"What are you talking about ? Nobody took your man ," I said confused .

"Terrell fucked me then left ! Drew fucked me then kicked me out ! & Isaiah rejected me then left me in the rain to walk home !"

"So you're the bitch that was with Terrell yesterday when I called ?" I asked . She just looked at me & smiled . So much rage & anger built up in me . I felt like swinging on her on the spot .

"Don't sweat it though . I got someone to handle them ." & with that she left the class .

I just sat in my seat & tried to figure out who she could possibly get to "handle" them . I just hope none of them get seriously hurt .

-2nd period-

Ari wasn't in class so I thought this would be a good time to tell Drew & Terrell about what happened .

"Drew & Terrell , I need to talk to y'all about something ," I told him .

"Aight . Wassup ?" Drew asked , closing his text book .

"So .. Ari told me she had sex with y'all .." I started .

"Yooo ! What the fuck ? She lying like hell , Miyah . I ain't touch that girl in that way ," Drew protested .

"Damn . I'm sorry , Miyah . It was a mistake that was never supposed to happen ," Terrell said .

"Drew , you ain't got to lie to me . I know how you are , & Terrell , it's whatever . I don't care . But that's not what I need to talk to y'all about . In 1st period , Ari told me she has someone that's gonna handle you two & Zaya . I don't know who , but you all need to watch your backs .

"She got people & I got people . Trust me , nothing is going to happen . I have people that can get the job done in one day & nobody will even notice ," Terrell said . I don't know what kind of people he got , but we need them .

"Good . We'll talk about this more at lunch ," I said .
