Sand's POV:
Twilight dragged me outside, and we sat by our big tomato plant that was the most interesting part of our 'backyard'. Our backyard isn't a backyard.... well it is... but its just a small strip of concrete along the house. Thats it. With flowerbeds of course.
"Oooh... I like your cute little tomato plant." Fluttershy smiled as she galloped over to the plant. Little green tomatos were starting to grow from the yellow flowers.
"Ugh! Why is there so much DIRT here? Darling, don't you ever clean up this place?" Rarity asked in disgust as she used her magic to sweep up my backyard.
"WOOHOO! Hey, what's this thing?" Pinkie Pie asked as she sat down on my little brothers tractor. It was a small vehicle, that was a dark green. It was pedal powered, and had its own steering wheel.
"That's my brothers trac-" Pinkie Pie zoomed around the corner of my backyard with my niece running after her frantically.
"W-wait for me Pinkie!" She got on my brother's Thomas the Tank Engine tricycle and raced on after her.
I was standing on the step that connected the ground to the screen door of my house, feeling exausted. Why? I'm not sure. I counted the ponies again.
One, Twilight; Two, Rarity; Three, Rainbow Dash; Four, Fluttershy; and five. Pinkie Pie. Wait, aren't they called the "mane six"?
Just then, a blond pony pushed open the screen doors of my house and stepped outside. Applejack. My eyes lit up instantly.
"APPLEJACK! ERMAGERD ITS YOU! APPLEJACK!" I hugged Applejack around the neck, taking her by suprise.
"Whoah there, partner." She said with her usual accent.
"YOURE MY FAVORITE OF THE MANE SIX!" I chirped gleefully to Applejack as I released her from the hug. She blushed, and waved her hoof modestly.
"Naw... I'm not special. I don't deserve to be anypony's favorite anything." She said as she shook her head with a chuckle.
"Oh hush. You're my favorite. And its staying that way." I announced proudly. Pinkie Pie came zooming back over from the corner, with DayOfTheDeadGirl trying to keep her pace.
"Holy moly! That was fun! Let's do it again DOTDG!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed as she bounced up and down on the seat of the tractor.
DOTDG was breathing heavily, and sweat was beaded along her forehead.
"I-I'll catch up.... with you... later..." she gasped out. She slid off the tricycle, and layed down on the ground next to it.
"Oh don't do that, Darling! You'll get all dirty!" Rarity exclaimed, continuing her cleaning anyway.
I looked at Twilight who was sitting to my left. She smiled her usual smile, and asked, "So you understand why we're here right?"
"I suppose..." I sighed. I started fiddling with the long, golden ends of my hair. Pinkie Pie stopped riding the tractor and was balancing herself along the fence that separated my yard from other apartments. The wood of the fence was only about an inch wide, so I was suprised she kept her balance. But this is Pinkie Pie we're talking about, she's full of suprises.
"You said that other tall critter in there was your brother?" Applejack asked me as she raised an eyebrow and pointed inside my house.
"Eeyup." I said to her at Macintosh's level. Twilight laughed and Applejack rolled her eyes. I suddenly gasped and shot up from sitting.
