"Why does this feel like an intervention?" Christian giggled taking a seat on Olivia's couch.
Liv, Silas, Lai, and Gunna were all present and no one cracked a smile. The tension in the air was thick and it was even more awkward now that Chris had finally arrived.
After taking a day to get herself together Olivia decided that today would be the day she confronted her sister about the madness that had taken place. Liv told Christian she had something serious to speak with her about and left it at that. Now that Chris had arrived, Olivia's tongue almost felt too heavy to lift.
This moment would determine how things would be moving forward.
Although Christian wasn't Olivia's sister by blood, that wouldn't have made them any closer. For that reason only she gave strict orders stating no matter what left Christian's mouth today, no one would harm her... Ever.
Olivia cleared her throat, "There's something I need to speak with you about and I need you to be completely honest with me."
The smile dropped from Chris's face as she sat up in her seat. She had no clue what was going on but Olivia now had her undivided attention.

"...Okay," She answered, lost as to where the conversation was going.
"Have you been dealing with Karron?" Olivia asked, holding her breath as she awaited Christian's reply. She knew that her sister was seeing someone but she didn't think it would be Karron of all people.
"Listen, I was gonna tell you. Actually, my plan was to reveal everything at the welcoming but Karron thought that would take the spotlight from Ariel."
"Chris..." Olivia's voice cracked as she fought to hold back her tears.
"I know... I know," Chris sighed. "I said I was done with hustlers after Trey but Karron caught me by surprise. We exchanged numbers around the time he and Caleb first visited and kept in contact since. We've only been official for a few months. So how did you guys figure it out?"
Gunna chuckled angrily at how casual Christian was being. He wanted to wring her fucking neck but he knew Liv would flip if he did that.
Olivia too was shocked at how forward Christian was being until something clicked in her head.
"Did Karron tell you why he wasn't at the welcoming, or any other family gathering for that matter?" Liv asked.
Christian nodded. "He told me that he and Gunna were having a petty beef so he had to see his uncle outside of the gatherings because of Gunna's temper," She added.
Gunna scoffed shaking his head. He should have known Karron's ass was being manipulative, but they had to be sure.
"Wait... Is that not what's going on?" Christian asked looking around at the expressions covering everyone's faces.
