Six - Future Revelations: Palumpolum

Once the gate opened Natasha, Demitri and Claire found themselves in a large city square. "Where are we anyway" Demitri asked walking to a large waterfountain. "I don't know, we could be in Palumpolum." Claire said looking at Natasha's shoulder pad. "Well if we are mum should we remove our shoulder pads." Natasha said removing her shoulder pad and placing it in the sacthel on her right leg. Claire then did the same as Natasha. "While we aren't in Bodhum Demitri call me Lightning."Claire said handing Natasha her gun-blade and pistol. The warp gate then closed, trapping Lightning, Natasha and Demitri in Palumpolum. "So Lightning, what do we do then." Demitri said looking at Lightning. "We'll go to Hope. He will be able to help us." Lightning said looking at Natasha. "Who's Hope" Demitri asked sitting on a bench near the fountain. "Hope Estheim, He was one of the L'Cie who stopped Barthandelus' plan to bring down Cocoon." Lightning said. "What's a L'Cie" Demitri asked standing up. "A Fal'Cie's servant" Lightning explained. "Fal'Cie?" Demitri asked. "They run Cocoon, keep the citizens happy, that sort of thing" Lightning said. "So, Hope is a Fal'Cie slave?" Demitri asked. Lightning shook her head. "He use to... just like me". Her eyes glazed over at the momorys. She wouldn't lie she missed him. "What do you mean?" Demitri asked."Mum, Aunt Serah, Hope and five others were Pulse L'Cie." Natasha explained to Demitri. "So where does Hope live then Lightning". Demitri asked as he saw some soldiers came from a street. "Felix Heights" Lightning whispered to Natasha and Demitri as the soldiers approached them. "What are you three doing here. You should be in your homes" Said a GC soldier walking up to them. Lightning knew that if the soldiers found out that they were BSR members that they would be taken to Eden. "We don't live here. we are visiting a friend". Lightning said looking at one of the other soldiers. "Well if your friend knows your coming to visit them what are you doing here in the city square." asked one of the other soldiers. Natasha then saw Lightning slowly moving her hand towards the gun-blade case on her back. Natasha then ran to Lightning and grabbed her arm before she grabbed the gun-blades handle. "Not here mum, we are still in the open" Natasha wispered into Lightning's ear. "Where do you propose we go then Natasha". Lightning said back to her and then looking at the soldiers near Demitri. "Let's go to Hope's. We can get there via the back streets". Natasha said to Lightning. Lightning then grabbed her gunblade and shot one of the head instantly killing him and then the other soldiers startred to fire at Natasha, Lightning and Demitri, who were retreating towards one of the back alleys. As Lightning entered the back alleys one of the soldiers fired his gun and it almost hit Lightning's left shoulder. Natasha then got her gun-blade out of it's case and using the weapon's gun mode she shot the remaining soldiers. "Come on we need to get to Hope's before a lodestar finds us." Natasha said. They all then left the side streets and then they saw what they wanted to avoid. A Lodestar behemoth along with 50 GC soldiers were waiting for them when they got out of the side streets and back onto the main street. "All units open" said the captain of the 50 soldiers before they began to fire their weapons at Natasha, Lightning and Demitri. As Lightning was about to shoot one of the soldiers she felt something hit her right leg, causing her to fall to the ground. "Natasha I can't fight" Lightning said as she put her left hand on her leg where she had been shot. "Stay here mum. Me and Dad will take care of things." Natasha said to Lightning before she left her to fight the GC soldiers. Natasha and Demitri then started to fight the soldiers and as Natasha was about to shot one a arrow went through his helmet killing him instantly. Natasha saw five teens fight the soldiers and slowly Natasha, Demitri and the five teens toke out the soldier until the behemoth was by itself. It then stood up on its hind legs and pulled out a large sword from its back and then it swung its sword at them but missed. After several attacks the behemoth fell on to the ground with a loud thud. "Nat" shouted one of the teens that were running towards Natasha and hugged her. "Wait... your suppose to be in Arcadia" said the female twin walking back a couple of steps from Natasha. "Natasha, Who are they?" Demitri asked. "No idea, Demitri" Natasha said looking at him. "We're your cousins Natasha" said the male twin. "Really? you're my future cousins?" Natasha asked. "Future?" The female twin asked "Yeah, I found a time warp gate, I'm from the past" Natasha said looking at the twins who looked back at her in confusion. "You're from the past?" the male asked staring at her with wide eyes. "Yup and he is my father" She pointed to Demitri. Demitri pointed to the corner of the building where a group of soldiers was just appearing. The female looked like she was going to faint "Wait? What?". "Well gotta run, bye" Natasha called running in the opposite direction of the advancing soldiers. She then went back to where she had left Lightning. When she reached Lightning, she was surrounded by several dead GC soldiers and some dead thexterons. "What happened mum?" Natasha asked worried looking at Lightning's left leg, which was badly bleeding. "Well several soldier appeared with thexterons and I managed to get them all. But one cut my leg badly, as you can see." Lightning said as she struggled to get to her feet. A gun then went off and Lightning then screamed in pain as bullet went under her left coller bone and narrowly avoided her left lung. the force of the sniper bullet sent Lightning crashing into the ground and a few seconds later she passed out. Natasha rushed to Lightning annd then she looked up to see the sniper who had shot Lightning. Natasha realised that killing him would make no difference so instead she placed her hand on Lightning's chest and then teleported.
