Fate of Two Worlds

Thirteen - Elmwood

"Why were you two out of Elmwood then?" The guard asked them. "We crashed outside in the mountains" Lightning replied. "How old are you two then?" the guard asked Lightning and Natasha. "I'm 19 and my friend is 18" Lightning replied. "Right sure you are. Doesn't matter, go to the High School and they will do the rest." The guard said before he went back to his post near the town gate. Lightning and Natasha then walked into Elmwoods town square. In the town square the High School was the largest building. With over 3000 students attending the High School Elmwood was in direct competition with Bodhum's High School. Lightning and Natasha then arrived in the reception area of Elmwood High. "May I help you?" A man asked. He was wearing a plain blue shirt that was partly covered by a orange jacket. His legs were covered by dark blue jeans and he had boots that were similar to Lightning's. "We are here to join your school." Lightning replied. "May I have your names then. "The reception asked them. "My name is Amy and this is my sister Emily." Lightning replied. "Can you two follow me then" The receptionist said to Lightning and Natasha before he walked down one of the corridors near the front desk. After a few minutes of walking they reached a room with the label 'Uniforms' on it. the Receptionist then opened the door and Lightning and Natasha followed him in. "We have two new students here Zoe." The receptionist said to a women who was sitting in the room. She was wearing a green jacket and under a white collored shirt. Her legs were covered by a navy green skirt that when she stood up just covered her knees. "Thank you Alan. I'll give these two their uniforms and timetables then." Zoe replied to the man before he left, closing the door behind him. Zoe then looked at Lightning and Natasha. "So who's first then" Zoe asked. Lightning stood forward and Zoe then opened a draw that had measuring tape in. "This can not be happening" Lightning thought to herself as Zoe took her height  and the rest of the measures that she had to do. She then did the same with Natasha. Zoe then walked into a room that was full of the different pieces of clothing that made up the schools complete uniform. "For two people who are only a year apart you do look the same" Zoe said from in the room. "We are actually mother and daughter" Natasha replied quickly before slamming the door and freezing the lock. "Let me out" Zoe shouted as she banged on the door. "The lock will unfreeze in an hour." Lightning said before she changed her clothing to match the school uniform code. Natasha then did the same. They both had a navy green blazer covering a white shirt and tie. A knee length skirt covered their legs, and on their feet were white socks that were covered by black shoes. Under these clothes Lightning and Natasha still wore their normal clothing. "Should be lunch soon Natasha. When it finishes stay out of the class." Lightning told Natasha as she looked at Zoe who was still shouting at them. "When we can remove these clothes?" Natasha asked, looking at Lightning. "When we confront the headmaster." Lightning replied. "Or we can remove them now to get to the head's faster." Natasha suggested. "That will be faster. You mean walk around the school with uniform on".

"Where is your uniform" A voice said. Natasha turned around and looked at one of Elmwood High School teachers. He was wearing a long black robe that covered his clothes. "I don't need one" Natasha replied. "Using that tone with me young lady will send you to the headmaster." He warned Natasha as Lightning strode around the corner and deliberately bumped into him. He stumbled backwards into the cold grey wall. "The sisters without a last name then. Both of  you come with me now" The teacher shouted. While they followed him Natasha and Lightning were getting ready to interrogate the headmaster. They then arrived at a door marked 'Headmaster's Office'. "You two, sit down while I speak to the head." the teacher said before walking into the head's office and closing the door behind him. "Ready?" Lightning asked Natasha. She just nodded her head in agreement. The door then opened and the headmaster stood in it's frame. "In here now" the headmaster said before walking back into the room. Lightning and Natasha then sat down on a brown leather sofa that faced a oak desk. "That's all Smith" the head said to the other teacher. He then left and closed the door behind him, leaving Lightning Natasha and the headmaster in the room. "So you think it's fun to not wear school uniform do you?". Lightning then stood up. "Lightning and Natasha are our real names" Natasha said as she stood up. They then uncovered the shoulder pads. "What are BSR members doing here." the head asked. "We need some infomation from you John." Natasha said to him. "How do you know my name?" John looking at Natasha. "It does not matter how, where can we find Azazel." Natasha demanded, pulling out her gun-blade and pointing it at John's head. "Make this easier for yourself John and we will leave after you tell us where Azazel is" Lightning said to him. "Fine i'll tell you. Azazel has a castle near the Undead Wasteland." John replied. Lightning hen looked at Natasha who then put the gun-blade back in it's container. "Mum we should leave" Natasha said Lightning. 

Outside the school police were gathering due to Zoe having called them. In the headmaster's office Natasha and Lightning had no intention of going with the police. "Where is this wasteland then?" Lightning asked. "Near Azure. Capital of Halo." John replied to Lightning. "Halo is a legend. It does not exist" Lightning said in disbelieve. "Mum Halo does exist. I have been there" Natasha said before she opened the office door and walked into the hallway. "When have you been to it then.?" Lightning asked as she walked into the corridor and stood next to Natasha. "Before I came home" Natasha replied. She then looked towards a door near the end of the corrridor and, raising her fingers, she snapped them, creating a warp gate near the schools front reception. "What are you going to do with me then?" John asked as he looked at Lightning, who just ignored him. "Nothing" Natasha replied just before she started to walk to the warp gate.  Lightning then followed her. John then closed the door and Natasha smiled. "What's that for?" Lightning asked her. "I think he's scared" Natasha replied before she walked through the warp gate. Lightning then followed her through it and then it closed.

The gate then opened and Lightning and Natasha were standing on the edge of a vast grey plain. "This must be the Undead Wasteland" Lightning said before the gate closed.
