Twelve - The Vile Peaks

Natasha was the first one to wake up after the ship crashed. After she woke up Lightning looked around and saw the ship's wreck. She then turned and saw that Natasha's right shoulder had been dislocated. "Mum where are we" Natasha asked her as she clicked her shoulder back into place. "I think we are at the Vile Peaks" Lightning replied as she stood up. "The Vile Peaks. This is where you, Sazh, Hope and Vanille were after Lake Bresha wasn't it" Natasha asked as she stood up. "Yeah it was. There will be plenty of Pulsework Soldiers around here so be careful Natasha." Lightning warned Natasha before walking towards a mountain of scrap metal. After Lightning reached the peak of the pile of scrap she saw a small town. "That's Elmwood. If anyone knows where people are, we need to go to the High School and talk to the head teacher" Lightning said as Natasha reached the peak. " I don't think we can see him by a appointment." Natasha replied. They then began to walk down the slope towards Elmwood when a noise attracted Lightning's attention. "Who's there" Lightning shouted. Natasha then heard a fluttering sound near a old Pulsework Soldier. "Over there mum" Natasha said. As Natasha and Lightning reached the Pulsework Soldier a small white creature appeared. "That's a Moogle" Lightning said. "Hello Kupo" the Moogle replied. Lightning then held her head for some reason. "Lightning." A voice sounded in her head. "Who are you" Lightning asked. "I am the goddess Etro. You will soon be given new power as your daugther Natasha will as well." The voice then disappeared and Lightning let go of her head. "Mum" Natasha asked her. "I'm fine Natasha" she replied before looking at the moogle. "Do you have a name" Natasha asked the moogle. "No I don't Kupo" The moogle replied. Lightning then saw a warp gate showing a girl and man in a desert. "We could give the moogle to them" Lightning stated. "Why" Natasha asked. "We already have weapon's and we don't have enought food for us and the moogle." Lightning repiled in an angered tone. "Moogle" Natasha called it to her. "Yes Kupo" the moogle replied. "Go through the gate and tell them I sent you to help them on their journey" Natasha asked the moogle. "Well legends say that mooogles change into weapons, and i think that girl will need one soon." Lightning said. The moogle then nodded it's head and then flew into the warp gate. The gate then closed after the moogle entered it. "We should keep moving Natasha" Lightning said before walking towards the shining lights of Elmwood. Natasha then followed her. After they reached the town gates Lightning looked at Natasha. "I know how we are going to get into the school" she said smiling. "Why do I get the feeling you want me in this plan" Natasha said blankly. "Yeah we are going to act as students and then we both get into trouble and see the head. Then we can ask them about this Azazel person." Lightning said to Natasha. "What are you two doing out of the town" a voice said to them. "We crashed over on the other side of the mountains" Lightning replied. "We saw your ship crash. Enter the town before a juggernaut appears." The voice replied before opening the town's gate. Lightning and Natasha then ran into Elmwood and the gate's closed behind them.
