Laying awake in the middle of the night
Missing those old days, the old times
I lay alone on my bed
Thinking how my life was back then
Before, you were oh so innocent
Compassionate too, ready to help others no matter what and when
I still remember all those wise words of yours that you told to me and said
But now, I don't know you anymore, you're a lot different
You frequently went to my home
And we would play 'till we will fall asleep
You were the only one who cheered me up when I was all alone
Those were memories for me to keep
Once you held your phone.....
You've changed
You became someone I don't know
Someone who I don't know today
When you started using the internet
You followed the footsteps of the bad influences
And imitating them

I want to explain about the poem you just read. The point there is on how time can change us. On how strong the media's and gadgets' influence to us. I want people to realize that they are being like the people who we follow or see online. This can be somewhat similar a poem you had read, Nowhere, these two stories are related to betrayal. But the point is still different. Nowhere talks about a girl who suddenly fell in love with a guy who saved her and betrayed her while this is s girl with a guy best friend who are really close but the guy changed because of the Internet.
