My friends were always beside me
Although I never knew they had to leave
They play a very special role in my heart
But it hurts to learn that we will grow up apart
I had always couldn't stand the times when they weren't near
If they could only stay right here
But what could I do? If they have big dreams to pursue
As what my mother had always told me
Even most important people in our lives can hurt us too
It's sad that I'll be left behind
We have a future ahead of us, families to make
If I could go back in time
I will go back to the old days
"Son, you know we can't afford you to go far."
"Can't we do anything? Can we at least try?"
"I don't think so, look at your father, sick and tired" she paused as she watched her son burst into tears. "We can't earn that much money, it's too hard."
Little did they know how much burden that was inside.
College passed by, and I was friendless
I would not go out of my dorm
I would not go socialize so I locked myself
Thinking on how much I'm bruised and torn
Many missed calls
Late replies
Do they even miss me at all?
