Chapter 3: Almighty Spring Way/The Wrong Date

I walked down the halls and to my locker. I didn't notice that someone was behind me until I slammed the locker door. "You scared me!" I screamed. "I'm sorry. Do you remember me?" He chuckled as he questioned me. "Sunwoo?" I gave him a look. "Yeah. Anyways, I'm sorry for scaring you. I just wanted to say hello. Well, see you around." He said as he patted my head. "Okay." I walked off to class. The bell ringed and everyone was walking out. I pushed my way out and got to my locker. Later I saw Yuqi and Mina. "Hey, did you come late?" I asked them. "Well, I just got here and Mina was here already." Yuqi told me. "Oh okay. Do you guys want to go now?" I asked them rearranging my books and supplies. "Sure. I want some kimchi!" Mina said with excitement. "Okay, com'n." Yuqi said as she took my hands and we walked down to lunch. Couple hours past and I was walking down the streets. "You didn't notice me I guess?" I heard a voice behind me. "Sunwoo, why are you here?" I asked smiling. "I thought you might want something." He handed me a guitar pick. "Whoa! Did you buy that?" I asked admiring it. "Custom made. It has your name on there." He smiled. "That's pretty awesome. Thanks!" I said as I hugged him. "I guess you didn't notice something again." He broke the hug. "What?" I looked around me. "You lost your other pick and that's why I made one for you so others will know if you ever lose one again." He said as he pulled out the pick. "Guess you won't be needing it anymore." He said and put it back in his pocket. "-cause it's mines now." He walked past me. "Hey! You don't even have a guitar." I walked behind him. "So? It's a Souvenir from you." He looked back at me. He gave me a cold gaze then smiled. "I'm not nice so don't be like that." He walked away.
Sunwoo's POV:
I turned away smiling. " 'I'm not nice so don't be like that.' Jerk." She said muttering. "What was that?" I asked looking back at her. "What? I didn't even say anything." Y/n said as her walking pace was faster. I grabbed her hands and grabbed her aside me. "Stop, lets walk together. I'm cold." I smiled to myself. "Okay."

Soon we got close to the station and it was already 5pm. "Y/n? Why did you lie to me?" I asked. "What do you mean?" She gave me a confused look. "You live down the street. Why don't you just walk away and go already?" I looked at her. "Cause you'll be a lonely brat." She chuckled. "No. Come on. Let me walk you home." I dragged her with me and we soon arrived to her house. "Goodnight." I said as she walked up the steps. "See you tomorrow, Sunwoo." She smiled and waved. I waved back and walked back to the station. The bus came after 5 minutes. I sat alone and thought to myself. I can't be with her. It's not safe. I only hurt people in the end. She's too joyful to be unhappy.

I counted the seconds. Then it came to minutes. Soon it became hours. Later it became days. I thought to myself again, over and over. I can't love anyone. They're only going to get hurt. As for me, my heart is dead. But inside I know her heart is unique.

*3 Months later*
Y/n's POV:
"Sunwoo? Yuqi? Mina? Where are you?" I looked around trying to find them. "SURPISE!!" Sunwoo shouted along with Yuqi and Mina. "Oh my gosh! What is this?" I looked at the cake. "You got accepted to Almighty Spring Way!" Yuqi said with excitement. "Really!! How do you know?" I asked. "Well, if it wasn't for Sunwoo. He actually recorded you singing, playing the guitar and dancing and showed it to the judges way before you even auditioned." Mina said as she gave me a hug. I hugged Mina back as she broke the hug. "Sunwoo... thank you. I guess that guitar pick was pretty perfect after all." I gave him a high five. "There was something else that was special after all." Sunwoo said as he came up to me. "You. They really chose you because of who you were. I told them all about you. They liked your personality. So why don't we practice and prepare for the show, mm? Let's say that show is in less than a month." He said as he handed me my guitar and we started playing music.

*1 month later*
I was nervous but Sunwoo was by my side. "Don't worry. You'll pass it and you're dreams will come true." He supported me as it was my turn to get on the stage. I grabbed my guitar and the mic was on. "Hello, I'm Y/F/N. Before I begin singing I just want to say, please listen to this song. Know how deep it really means to me. I wrote it with my friend. A love so far, but even through the good and bad, how the situations are being handled, I will always want to be with him. Thank you." I began singing as the crowed was following along.
