Chapter 9: The Words

We got to his house and we snuck inside without anyone noticing. I whispered to Sunwoo. "Why am I here for?" I asked but he kept dragging me to a room. Soon we reached a room and he shut the door behind me. "Let's sleep here. Nobody really comes inside this room. By the way, this isn't my bedroom." He said looking away and took off his shirt. I quickly looked away. "Put it back on." I was surprised and scared for a moment. "No. This is how I'm dressing to sleep." Sunwoo said and he pulled down his pants. He had shorts under so it didn't just show his boxers. "I'm staying here tonight? What if my mom gets worried about me?" I asked Sunwoo and pulled out my phone. He took my phone and threw it on the bed. "She won't be. I just wanna be with you right now." He said as he came closer. "What does that mean?" I asked stepping backwards. "I want to have fun. Just for awhile?" He came closer to me as I stepped back. "Are you just using me? Don't you have another women that you're in love with?" I asked as I bumped into the wall that was behind me. "Are you crazy? I'm not using you, and no. Who told you this?" He said putting his arm on the wall and looking into my eye. "Jennie." I looked away. He backed off and looked away. "Jennie? I never told her anything like that." He looked back at me. "Y/n." He said seriously. I looked back at him. "I really like you." He said with a cold gaze. He came closer to me as his lips were closely almost onto mines. I turned my head. He backed off. "Let's go to sleep." He walked over to the bed and looked at me. "Let's pretend today never happened." He got onto the bed and closed his eyes. I got into his sweater and fell asleep.

*Next Day*
Sunwoo's POV:
I woke up to Y/n next to me. I thought about what happened. Maybe this is why I don't get close to someone. I got out of the bed and soon Y/n woke up. "Morning." She smiled at me. "Hey. Let's hurry and get going." I said walking out of the room. I couldn't handle seeing her. I was just still upset and I couldn't be able to control it.

*After School*
Y/n went home and I got home later that night. I sat on my bed and soon got a notification.
"Go to your window."
I got freaked out but I walked to my window. I didn't see anyone. I looked down and saw Jennie.
"Can you let me in?"
I saw her message and I told her to go to the door. I got there and opened it. "Sunwoo!" Jennie hugged me. "I missed you." Jennie said. I hugged her back. "I didn't plan this but we need to talk." She backed off and looked at me with a confused look. I took her hands and walked her to the couch. "What did you say to Y/n?" I looked at her with a expressionless face. "What do you mean?" Jennie looked away. "You told her I loved someone else?" I stood up. "Sunwoo. I tried to tell her that she had to stop seeing you so you could focus on your work." Jennie pulled my arms. "Let me go. You only didn't just want me to focus on my studies but you wanted me to focus on you. It's not like that. You're supposed to be my assistant now that Tzuyu's gone." I walked away disgusted. "Sunwoo, wait!" Jennie hugged behind me. "I thought you cared about me. I thought you loved me like I was the only girl." Jennie cried. I turned around and looked at her. "I'm sorry. Maybe you're not my assistant but you're also my fan. If you want anything, a autograph, you can have it." I looked at Jennie. "Don't go near Y/n and I want you to leave." I walked her to the door. "I want you to marry me, 'anything' right? Or else I'll tell the whole world who you really are." Jennie walked out the house. "4 months." Jennie turned around as she hesitated to take a step. "Go ahead. I'm not marrying you. My true fans will believe me. I'm not marrying you, if I had to choose it would be Y/n. Off my property." I shut the door as the guards came by and took her away.

I walked to Y/n's house and asked if I could stay over. "Why are you here? I thought you were mad at me." Y/n looked at me. "I talked to Jennie. I fired her. Not only that she lied to you about me being in love with some other lady. She was in love with me herself. The words, the truth is, I'm just afraid of getting close to you. I want you to know the real truth." I took a breath. I let a sigh out. "Every time I see you, my heart races and I can't help with getting these butterflies. I want you to see that I care for you deep down, I'm just afraid I'll say something wrong and afraid you would say something different and feel a different way. I'm really sorry." I looked at Y/n and took a step back. "But I can't be with you." I ran away from her without her giving an answer. I heard her shouting from a distance calling out my name. I ran into the street wishing I could've took my words back. Before I realized it, lights were on me like I was in the circus. Instead of being there a sharp pain came into my body and I heard screams and honks.

I woke up not realizing were I ended up in. A bed? A monitor? Where am I? What happened?
