Chapter 11: Your Song

"I fell in love once..." I took a breath. "Her name was Ryujin(ITZY)..."

*4 years ago*
We've dated for 3 years, she was one of the best person that I knew. I loved her so much. Until the day came..
"Sunwoo-ah! Let's go to the park! I really want to see you!"  I got a message from Ryujin. "Okay, I'll pick you up then? We can have some ice cream and go bike riding there. 4pm!"  I sent her a message. "See you later Jagiya! I love you." Ryujin responded. "I love you too." As the time went past I got ready and drove off to her house. She came outside with a nice dress and a hair clip that I bought her. "You look nice." I said as I gave her a kiss on the forehead. "Thank you! Let's go?" She said as she put her seatbelt on. As we got there I told her that we could get the ice cream as we ride the bikes to the building. She agreed and helped me take the bikes down. "You're so sweet." She hugged me. As we got there we ordered and she went to the bathroom. She left her phone and a notification came up. I read it as it read.. "See you tonight.😉" as she came out I confronted her. "What is this? Who is this guy? We've dated for 3 years and you want to do this?" I tried to keep calm. "Sweetie. I-I'm sorry. I thought maybe we could work out because I thought you were going to break up with me. After I realized that you really loved me I was going to tell him, 'We shouldn't communicate any longer.' I forgot to tell him and I'm sorry." She said as she begged me. "Ryujin-ah. I can't take this anymore. I loved you so much, how could you! As a matter of fact, maybe we shouldn't be together. I'll take you back home. Get you ice cream." I said as I was left empty. She never saw my effort and affection all these years. We parked outside her house. "Are you okay?" She asked me as she looked at me. "Get out please, I can't look at you anymore. We're done." I said as she walked out. "Sunwoo-ah? Please forgive me, I love you." She said as tears ran down her eyes. "I hope you and him have fun tonight." I said as I drove off. The next day came along and I met her at the store with her new boyfriend. She looked happier which made me feel worse. They didn't notice me, she was happier. I was so happy for her, I thought maybe this is what I get for getting too close to someone. Why? That night I saw them at the club, I thought why do I always see her with him everywhere I go? Her new boyfriend got really drunk and I thought maybe I should take her with me, but realizing what she did to me and what she did to US it was her fault for being stuck with someone like him. It wasn't my position any longer. I went straight out the door and went home. The morning came along and the news found out that a woman and a man got into a accident because the man was drunk. They partied all night at the club. I knew I should've went and got her. I was left so heartbroken, I didn't know what to do. I rushed to the hospital only to find that she was dead. I cried so much I didn't even realize that days went past.
*Present Day*
"When I met you I fell for your voice. I asked myself if I would ever meet you again but I was afraid. But now I'm here with you and I remembered everything. When I got hit by a car I woke up, but before that I had a dream that Ryujin was there. She told me that someone will love me. That she'll be the one. She told me she loved me and asked for my forgiveness. Of course I forgave her. When I woke I thought I saw Jennie but I closed my eyes, then woke up to you sitting by me. That's why I asked where Jennie was. I didn't remember much about you and I know how terrible that felt and I'm sorry. I just know that I remember everything now and I don't want you to worry anymore." I said as I took a glance at Y/n.

*Y/n's POV*
"You're scared to get closer to me because you don't want us to end like your last one?" I said as I got up. "It's must've been hard on you. I'm really sorry to hear that." I said as a tear fell down from my eye. "Why are you crying?" Sunwoo asked me. I wiped it away. "Nothing. Let's go?" We went down and as we got dismissed. After school Sunwoo took me to the streets where we first met. He brought out a guitar. "Play your song." He said as he sat by me. I smiled as I played 'his' song. Sunwoo looked at me as his eyes got bigger. He was in shock. (If you want to hear it go to Chapter 3 for his song) "You~ It's You~" I said as I looked up at him smiling. "How did you know?" Sunwoo asked. "Remember that day that we met at the restaurant while I was with Hyunjae and you were with Jennie? The night he dropped me off he told me that he offered to sing a song of your choice because he felt bad and he knew you were talking about me when he saw your face expression when he was with me. It's alright Sunwoo...." I said as I pulled out a note and wrote in it. I put the guitar back and gave it to him. "Are you missing something?" I asked and as he turned around I pulled out the note. "Here's your note." I said as I smiled and handed it to him as I walked away first.

*Sunwoo's POV*
I opened the note...

"I love you~ Please let go of the past and start a new one."
