We got into the castle, and we were immediately met with four more cloaked figures. I knew those four witches made up the kingdom's court. One witch dealt with the kingdom's security, another dealt with writing laws, referring to the rest of the court to pass them, another dealt with judicial matters, and the last one dealt with foreign kingdoms. I could tell exactly who "ruled" over which thing, because at the top of their unimpressive thrones were black symbols surrounded by silver circles representing each. For security, a battle-axe, to the right of that, laws had a pen, to the right of that, judicial matters had scales, and on the far right, foreign kingdom matters had two hands shaking.

I noticed a more elaborate, empty throne in between laws and judicial matters, and at the top of that one it had the symbol of a crown surrounded by a circle of bright silver, just like the others, but this one had a ring around it. I thought that that one would be mine.

"Hello. Nice to see you again, Amy." A familiar voice said from the security throne. She pulled off her hood, and I saw short, brown haired, dark blue eyed, Aspen Vexx.

"Hello, Aspen Vexx."

"Please, just call me Aspen. What a surprise to see you here. I am sensing very powerful magic coming from you, more than I have ever seen in my entire existence."

I showed them the necklace, and Aspen went wide-eyed, and I assumed the rest of the court did, too.

Laws, who told me her name was Agatha Steros, pulled off her hood and revealed shoulder length, black hair, pale skin, and and brown eyes.

Judicial matter, whose name was Azula Serphent, revealed a head of long, blonde hair, and grey eyes, making her look not unlike a light witch.

Foreign kingdom matters said her name was Ravyn Devonshire, and she revealed dark grey hair, which was very, very short, almost shaved, and dark, green eyes under her hood.

"Now that we have our court introduced," Agatha said, "tell us a little bit about you."

"I don't really know where to start, but I guess I'll start with my name, which you heard from Aspen earlier, Amy. I don't really know what else to say about me. I trained with Aspen for about half my life, I guess that's one thing."

"What about your early life?" Azula asked.

"Well, my parents were murdered when I was five, and that kind of set off a lot of things, including my discovery of this world."

"Discovery?" Agatha asked.

"I was human until I was about nine. Then I was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and a werewolf bit me, and I turned into a werewolf-black-blood hybrid, then when I turned 180, I got my witch abilities, which was when I first came here to train with Aspen."

They were all transfixed by my story, they all forgot Layma was still with us. Azula realized it after a while, and she gave Layma the rest of her day off.

I told them as much as I could, leaving out the parts I didn't want anyone to know. By the time I was done telling about my adventures, it was dawn, which was basically dusk in the dark witch territories, which consisted of shadow, demonic, water, and earth witches.

Aspen seemed to notice the dawn, and called a helper, equivalent to a servant, to escort me to what was to be my new room. When we arrived, I noticed the door looked somewhat the same as the bedroom door in the cell at Ashton's warehouse, except it was actually black, and it looked newer.

We went into the room, and that was when the helper finally introduced herself. "Hello, I'm Hester, you must be Amy, our future queen. It's an honor to be of service to you."
