8 {Someone from the Past}

"Oh my god!" Cheryl says looking down on her phone in shock.

"What?!" I asked eager to know.

"Ms. Polly Cooper is back in town," She says as my jaw drops to the ground.

"Oh my..." I say but nothing seems to come out. "This week is going to be hella exciting" I share a smirk with Cheryl.

~ A Few days later ~

"Hey did you know Polly is back in town?" I ask Reggie as I lay next to him on his large bed.

"Wait, the Polly who Jason dated?" He asks chuckling.

"Yes! That Polly" I exclaim as Reggie continues to fall in a fit of laughter making him hit his bare chest. "Control yourself, Mantle."

"You and I both know I have no control when I'm around you" he smirks as he suddenly gets on top of me and attacks my neck with sloppy kisses.

Polly escaped and is now on the loose. Meet at my place tomorrow. Xxx

I see the text from Cheryl and slightly push Reggie off. "Guess we're going on a hunt tomorrow for a crazy and clueless lady," I say as Reggie ignores me and throws my phone across the room. "Okay, you didn't have to do that."

"Sorry" he smiles as he leans down and smacks my lips with his while starting to take my shorts off.

~ Next day ~

"Oh shit," I gasped looking at the text I received from Betty.

"What is it?" Reggie asks while stretching his bare body out next to me.

"Betty just texted me and a bunch of other people asking to join her and her parents to look for Polly," I chuckle.

"Oh fuck," he mumbles. "But we're going with Cheryl's family right?"

"Of course were with Cheryl. We don't talk to Betty or any of those people exactly," I roll my eyes and start getting ready. "Come on let's get ready last thing I need is for Cheryl to be on my ass about why we're late."

~Hunt~

"Hey Cheryl did you know that Betty and her family are also on a hunt for that lady who is completely out of her mind," I tell her and for a second she looked frazzled but then she replaces it by rolling her eyes.

"Obvi, but we're not backing down and we will find Polly before them," she sternly says and continues to call out Polly's name.

"Ugh this is so pointless," Reggie groans while I hold onto Reggie's arm trying not to trip on a stick. "Why do we have to get sucked into this? She is none of our problems, for all I care she can be in Connecticut doing fucking drugs," he says making me slap his arm.

"Reggie, we're good people and good friends to Cheryl so we're here to help her and her family in desperate times," I say in a sing-song voice. "Oh. My. God" I gasp seeing the Coopers and some of the people from school and the Blossoms come face to face.

Alice Cooper then makes an announcement with everyone gathering around her. Everything was just boring blabber until she said something making me snap out of my trance.

"You see my daughter, Polly is pregnant with Jason Blossoms baby," with that everyone starts to whisper amongst themselves.

"What in the actual fuck," I say and share a look with Reggie.

"So now a crazy and clueless pregnant lady is lost," he says trying to put the pieces together. "That's something,"

~The Night After~

"Cheryl doesn't worry, maybe this baby will be good for your family," I tell Cheryl over the phone as she continues to freak out. "And you're going to be an aunt, Jason's gone and it's like a sign that he's here."

"You're right, thanks, Ana. Okay well I gotta go I'll talk to you tomorrow," we say our farewells and I hang up the phone.

"Hey are you down to go clubbing with Veronica, Josie, and Kevin. They're saying this will help take things off our minds after what happened earlier this morning," Reggie says.

"Sure why not, what time?" I ask starting look through some of my clothes.

"Like around 9, we'll meet them there," he says.

"Kev!" I run over to Kevin as soon as I see him sipping on a martini.

"Oh my god, Ana!" He hugs me back and I go over to Josie and hug her too.

"Veronica," I smile and nod my head at her and she does the same.

"I'm glad you two could make it," Veronica smiles as we go into our booth.

"Hell yeah! We would never miss a party for shit," Reggie cheers.

Time passes by and all five of us are on the dance floor dancing the night away and drinking like there's no tomorrow.

Then Kevin pulls me back to our booth and the other follow.

"I'm sorry Miss Lodge but your card has been declined," a worker says holding Veronica's card.

"Really? And let me guess it's been reported stolen?" She asks as the man shares an unamused look.

"It has in fact. We're supposed to call the cops," he says making all of us scoff.

"Yeah sure call the cops, we'll be happy to tell them how old we are," Reggie snarks from his place laying on me.

"Oooh, or I could call my mom.. the mayor," Josie jumps up and the guy sighs out in annoyance.

I look through my bag and look for my own credit card and hand it to the man. "This should work," I say as the man swiftly walks away and the other chuckle.

"Veronica, did your mom cut you off?" Kevin asks.

"She did," she says proudly.

"That's a good thing?" Reggie asks now sitting up with his hand on my thigh.

"Oh Reggie, this is how we lodge women roll. We faint, we parry, we approach, we retreat. We're like a cobra and a mongoose dancing. She blinked which means I suspect that Hermione Lodge is ready to negotiate," she says as the guy comes back with my card.

"Thanks, Ana," everyone around the booth says and I nod as I start putting my jacket on.

"Yeah no problem," we walk out to the parking lot with Veronica getting in her limo, Reggie and I getting in his Audi R8, Kevin and Josie getting in his truck.

"This was so fun guys, we should do it again soon," Kevin says and with that, we're all off to our destinations.
