Cheryl and I sat in a booth of Pops diner and just a couple of tables ahead of us is the mysterious squad contains Kevin, Veronica, Jughead and Betty. "If I would've known momma Lodge was working as a waitress at pops. I would've never gave Veronica a spot in the vixens" Cheryl rolls her eyes making me look back to see a older looking Veronica cashing me to scoff. You're kidding me.
"I mean after the whole thing with Chuck, all the vixens seem to like Veronica now" I say as Cheryl shares a dead look.
"Do they?" She says as Mrs.Lodge reaches for the check but Cheryl grabs it. "Be sure to put all that cash in the register, you are a Lodge after all.. and Lodges are known to have sticky fingers" Cheryl looks at the mother judgingly. The waitress opens her mouth to say something before Veronica walks up to us.
"Cheryl. Ana" Veronica says warningly as her mom held up a finger stopping her.
"Honey, I got this. Cheryl, Ana I went to school with your mothers and.." she turned to Cheryl specifically. "She didn't know the difference between having money and class either" with that she walks away with Veronica having a proud smile on her face making Cheryl roll her eyes.
The front doors bell rings and I look up to see Archie, his dad and Ms.Grundy walk in. "Oh my, look who just walked in" I say nodding my head towards the door as Cheryl quickly spins around. "What a sick and twisted love story" I shake my head and eat my onion rings.
Cheryl and I sit in my Range Rover listening to some music when Cheryl suddenly pauses the music and looks out the window. "I spy with my little eye.. Hermione Lodge full of secrets" now I look out the window to see FP Jones arguing with Hermione. "Riddle me this, why is Veronica's mother having a clandestine with a south side serpent behind a dumpster at Pops" Cheryl finishes off as I take my phone out and snap a picture.
"Not gonna lie buy he's pretty hot, dilf" I smirk making Cheryl roll her eyes and playfully hit me on the arm.
"I'm pretty sure Reggie wouldn't appreciate you calling older dudes hot and dilfs" she flips her hair.
"Tragic" I look out the window smirking at the sight.
~Drive in Movie~
"Hey Cheryl" I walk towards her with Reggie's arm tightly around me.
"Hey, what's up?" She asks.
"Nothing, just wanted to ask you if you wanted to go with us to the drive in later?" I ask pulling away form Reggie and sitting next to her.
"Yeah of course!" She exclaims making me smile.
"Okay cool, if you need us we'll be in the washroom" I wink towards her as she shudders in fake disgust then giving me a nod as Reggie drags me down the hall and inside the washroom to lock the door.
~Drive in~
I drive into the driveway in my Range Rover with Reggie in the passenger seat. "I swear this place creeps me out every time" Reggie complains looking out into the cemetery.
"And I agree with you" I let out a puff of breath and text Cheryl to come out. The door flings open as it reveals a smirking Cheryl. "Hey C" I greet her as she hops in the back seat.
"Hey Ana, Reggie" Reggie looks back and smiles. "I am so ready for this drive in, sadly it'll be the last" she pouts as I zoom out and onto the road probably over speeding.
We finally arrive at the park and look for a good parking area as I reverse and open up my trunk so we can lay or sit in it. Coincidentally, Kevin's truck parks next to my car so that'll be interesting.
We were far into the movie and our popcorn was getting low. "Jason always adored the drive in" Cheryl speaks up making Reggie and I share a look and I rub her arm soothingly.
The south side serpents are starting to get annoying making raucous and interrupting the movie. "Do they ever shut up?" I exclaim as Cheryl rolls her eyes.
"I don't think they know how to do that, just like everything else. That's why they are stuck here in the south side" Cheryl says. Suddenly Veronica Lodge stands up and calls out at them.
"Hey! You know what happens to a snake when a louboutin heel steps on it? Shut the hell up or you'll find out" she says as everyone around us applauds her and cheers her on.
"How bout a refill?" I ask Cheryl shoving the bucket towards her as she groans and hops off the car. "Thank you."
Moments later she comes back and clears her throat causing me to pull away but Reggie pulls me back down for a long deep kiss. "Ugh get off her you gorilla" Cheryl says in disgust climbing back in and I pat Reggie on the chest who frustratedly rolls his head back.
"Don't worry babe, we'll take care of it when we get home" I smile kissing him from his neck to lips and lean my head against his chest enjoying the movie.
Sorry!! For the super late update, I've been super busy with school and other projects. But I'm back and I'll try to update more consistently. Also this chapter kinda sucks, I just had to put something out there. 💓💓💓
