"Polly has convinced herself that no one wants her baby," Betty says as all of us sat together in the lounge.
"Besides, of course, the child snatching Blossom monsters," Kevin blurts out. "No offense Cheryl."
"None taken," Cheryl eyes Kevin.
"So your mom and dad want Polly but not the baby and the Blossoms want the baby and not Polly?" Jughead tries to piece it together.
"It's an impossible situation," Betty says making me nod agreeing with her statement.
"Betty, come on an impossible situation is being invited to the vanity fair Oscar party and Elton Johns Oscar party on the same night, which happened to me one year I know. This is merely an annoying situation, but luckless I've been percolating on an idea," Veronica rants as I roll my eyes.
"What would that be Veronica?" Cheryl asks already over with this conversation.
"What if my mom and I were to a host s baby shower?" She says making my eyes grow wide.
"I'm so in," I explain as they all turn to me for my sudden outburst. "Oh come on Betty don't you want your sister to feel loved and supported right?" I say matter-of-factly.
"Yeah of course but ideally by her own parents," she says.
"Okay but baby steps girl. Get Polly and your parents in the same room in a public setting where they can't fight and voilà, let the healing begin," Veronica explains.
"I actually agree with Veronica," I say making Veronica look towards me with a smile.
"Am I expected to come to his thing?" Jughead asks.
"Of course you're Betty's boyfriend," I say rolling my eyes. Suddenly Betty's mom steps into the room and starts yelling her head off.
"Elizabeth Cooper!"
"Mom?" Betty asked mortified.
"I need you and you. Right now!" She yells while pointing to Veronica and Betty.
"What the hell," I say breaking the silence around the group.

"Woah what the hell?" Reggie exclaims making me jump from his chest.
"What?" I ask lowering the volume on the tv.
"Moose just got beat up by these punks while helping Archie Andrews and his dads construction," he says making my eyes go wide.
"Oh my gosh is he okay?" I ask.
"Yeah he's fine now, but he sent me a pic of his face and that shit is nasty," he says while turning his phone to show me the pic.
"Oh shit, he got fucked up bad," I say covering my mouth. "That sucks. Anyways I gotta go," I say starting to get up but suddenly get pulled back down. "Reggie!"
"Where are you going?" He asks.
"To Polly Cooper's baby shower," I smirk.
"Oh damn, with Jason's baby right?" He asks chuckling.
"Yeah you loser, now let go of me," I say trying to rip my hand away from his tight grip but he won't budge so I leaned in for a kiss and his hands quickly found their way on my cheeks.
It got a little heated and I took that as my chance and ran to the front door. "Sorry bub, but it was the only way to get out of that," I smile widely and shut the door leaving him shaking his head in defeat.

I arrive at Veronica's place and am greeted by Polly giving me a bone crushing hug. "Hi Polly, how are you?" I ask trying to push her off.
"I'm good, it's so nice to see you again omg, you don't even understand" she smiles as we take a seat on the couch. "I remember when we used to hang out, you, me, Jason, and Reggie. Sometimes Moose and Midge would be there too," she reminisces. "Those were the days," she says as her eyes start to water again.
"Oh my Polly, don't cry it's okay. Look you're having Jason's baby now, it's like he never left you," I say trying to comfort her.
"Speaking of how's Reggie and Moose?" She asks me taking a bite of the cake.
"They're-they're Moose and Reggie. Nothing's changed Reggie is still the same as usual and Moose he's not dating Midge," I tell her and her eyebrows rise up. "Yeah, I know they finally made it official after constant teasing," I laugh.
I turn to the corner and see Betty and Jughead all lovey-dovey. "Anyways it's good to she's you back Polly," I smile and give her another hug.
Then mama Cooper yet again bursts through the door. "Mom!" Polly exclaims and after exchanging some words, they hug. This time it's the Blossoms time to burst through the door.
"We're here!" Cheryl yells while pushing a stroller. "No big deal, it's the only best stroller money could buy," she says.
"So... expensive," Polly responds as Penelope walks in with Nana Rose.
"All I ask in return is you make me your baby's godmother," Cheryl says. "Kidding... so not kidding. Come on Nana Rose lets get you a good spot by the food," she says walking away with her grandma.
After a while of mingling and eating desserts, Polly goes up and opens gifts for the baby. She goes on talking about a night light that was dear to her heart when Archie Andrews walks through the door interrupting the whole vibe.
Another thing leads to another and Penelope and Alice are at it again arguing like cats. That caused Polly to have a mental breakdown and the whole party was just a mess.
"Okay I'm over this party, I'm leaving thanks again," I tell Betty and Veronica while grabbing my things.
"Thank you for coming," Veronica says while giving me a hug which I hesitantly took and just smiled at Betty and left.
I got in my car and decided to drive over to Reggie's not in the mood to go back to my empty home since my parents are away again.
I arrive at the large house and find the hidden key and walk up to Reggie's large room. I quietly walk over to his bed and take my pants off leaving me in my underwear and an oversized hoodie.
"Oh hey, what time is it?" He groggily said.
"It's midnight, I just decided to come here instead of my house cause my paren-"I start to say before he cuts me off.
"Well I'm glad you did," he said before kissing me on top of my head and wrapping his long arms around my waist.
I get comfortable under the covers and sigh in content that he understood and I didn't have to explain everything and I'm just finally in my safe haven.
