                 *One year later*

"Tori we have to go!" my best friend Ali shouts at the top of the stairs "I'm coming" I yell back, packing the rest of the supplies for our next case

I rush up the stairs "Oliver you're in charge" I say to the two boys on the couch "Hey why am I never in charge?" Kyle asks me

"Because he's never almost caught the house on fire" I say putting my shoes on "Oh and he's older than you are" I say to him

"You could have begun and ended with that" he says crossing his arms

I can't believe it's been almost a year since he moved in after his parent kicked him out when he came out to them as Transgender then after a while his boyfriend Oliver moved in with us, yes I'm only seventeen and I live in a house alone with three of my best friends but I couldn't stand how quiet the house was when my parents...I had them move in and I'm glad I did.

"So like always if June asks where Ali and I are you tell her..." I waited for them to finish the sentence for me "That you're on a hunting trip and you'll be home in a few days" they say at the same time

"That's my boy's" I say to them "Okay we gotta go...Make sure you get to school on time every day, if you don't the school will call me and I'll kick your asses when I get home" I say kissing the two of them on the top of their heads

"Bye guys I love you" I say walking out the door "Love you" they say before I close the door and walk to the car.

"So where are we headed to this time?" I ask Ali as we put our bags in the trunk of "Hell" she says with a smile

"Again are you serious...what is with that small ass town?" I ask her "Well it is a town named Hell in the state of Michigan" she says making me laugh

"Yeah but you would think that we have problems in other parts of that state-but we don't just that town" I say to her as our laughter dies down

"Well let's just go before we'll have to go back again and deal with a new case for the town" she says as we get into the car Goodbye San Francisco and hello Hell Michigan.

I look over to my beautiful best friend Ali with her sparkling sky blue eyes and the ends of her hair match her eyes almost perfectly than is still a perfect combination with her dark brown hair, she moved in with me about a month after the...incident with my parents in fact I had found her on the side of the road walking to god knows where she had cuts and bruises all over her so I brought her back to my house to clean up her wounds.

At first, she didn't know what I did but one day she was exploring the house after I said she could live with me for a few weeks until she gets back on her feet and found the basement where I keep every weapon I own along with numerous military style cots, a boxing ring, medical supplies, enough food to survive a few months during an apocalypse (which almost happened a few years ago).

And a panic room built with iron reinforced walls to keep any spirit out, a sprinkler system with a water tank filled with holy water, and a devil's trap painted on the ceiling.

I've only used the room a few times since mom and dad...I found a couple of demons that were associated with the one from that gut-wrenching night, I kept them tied to a chair with holy water-soaked rope and I had kept them like that for days getting as much information as I could out of them-well that is I did what I said I would do to the one that took my family but I went easier on them,

I only did it enough to break them-just enough to crack them into giving me what I needed then sent them back home.

And before I do that I always ask if the vessel they're using is still alive or not, if they are I'll exorcize them and then help the confused person home once the demon has left but if they aren't I take the easy way out because I might as well if the vessel doesn't have a beating heart anymore.
