A Long Two Months Later - Umi's POV - Age 17 - Jonin

I finally get the case closed and ROOT is shut down.

"Good job Umi." Lord Hokage says to me.

"That took too long." I say and Lord Hokage nods in agreement and I walk out of his office with a small wave and I walk down the stairs, Kakashi joining me. "That was stressful." I say and Kakashi nods in agreement.

"Well at least now we're both Jonin again." Kakashi says to me with a closed eyed smile and we fist bump, something we often do after a victory. "Ramen, Dango or Barbeque?" Kakashi asks.

"Hmm, meat sounds good after this, so Barbeque." I say to Kakashi.

"My treat since you got me out of Root." Kakashi says to me and we walk to Barbeque.

"AH MY YOUTHFUL RIVAL AND HIS YOUTHFUL GIRLFRIEND!" Guy yells inside the Barbeque place as we enter.

Me and Kakashi turn red. "It's not like that, we're just friends." We both say quickly while waving our hands in front of us.

"Riiiigggghhhhht." Guy drags out and my face heats up badly.

Me and Kakashi sit down with Guy who happens to be here with Kurenai and Asuma.

"So, are you two on a date?" Kurenai asks me and Kakashi.

"No, Kakashi just owes me for saving his life from an evil man who was running part of the ANBU that Kakashi was in." I say as I cross my arms over my chest and Kakashi gives me a closed eyed smile.

"This is true." Kakashi confirms.

"And I thought Kakashi was vague, that was hardly any detail." Asuma says with a sweat drop.

We eat and then I get pestered by Kurenai to do a make over with her.

"Uh, maybe?" I answer, not really sure of what to say.

"Alright, lets go." Kurenai says and drags me out by the wrist. "Your hair needs done, I can see split ends and dead hairs, your nails too, and you definitely need a clothes make over. Its summer and your wearing a long sleeve." Kurenai says to me and I sweat drop.

"Okay?" I say and hear a laugh and I see Shisui, I scowl at him.

"What? Seeing this is funny, I never knew you were the type to get a make over." Shisui says with a smile.

I snort. "We all have secrets my dear friend." I say and get dragged into a salon.

Oh shit, too many people, and they'll be touching me.

"Your also gonna need a massage, your to tense." Kurenai says and my mouth gapes at her.

"What?" I ask and then Kurenai orders for me and I get dragged away.

I come out of a room a few hours later with loose shoulders and my hair considerably cut, it's now at my mid-back and done in a loose braid, my hair color was touched up since it started to turn dull and my complexion looks healthy I guess? My nails were done and now look like normal nails.

"You look great." Kurenai says as she looks at me. "Now for clothes." She says with a grin.

"Uhh." I say as I get dragged out again and to a clothes shop.

"Alright, hmm." Kurenai says looking around and I take that chance to escape.

I run down the streets and I find Kakashi, I hide behind him and he looks at me questionably, then see's Kurenai run past us.

"I'm not changing my clothing style for all the cats in the world." I say and Kakashi chuckles.

"Come on, I'll walk you back home." Kakashi says and I nod.
