They told her to kill herself.
And boy did she want to.
So as she stood there on that ledge.
Just an inch away from death.
She looked up to the sky.
Where that boy who took his life.
Stood watching closely.
And she remembered that night.
When she was just too late.
He whispered his last words.
"Live for me."
She took a step back.
The boy in heaven Smiled.
And whispered to himself.
"She's keeping her promise."
She started to walk away.
Then took a running start.
Another hand grabbed her.
And whispered "please don't. Please don't break my heart."
She turned around.
And what a sight to see.
She hasn't seen this boy.
Since the day she turned thirteen.
She blinked and he was gone.
A whisp through the air.
And she sat and cried.
Pulling on her hair.
She ran back to the car.
And fell fast asleep.
She awoke in her room.
And ate a bite to eat.
She thought back to the night before.
To the boy who took his life.
She remembered his promise.
"I'll be good in heaven."
And whispered to herself.
"You keep your promise and I'll keep mine."
