Today David pulled me aside to talk to me. To be honest I thought he was going to ask me to marry him. David got down on one knee. Cleared his throat. I started to get giddy. Then he leaned over to tie his shoe and stood back up and asked me if I wanted to take a walk with him. There was this beautiful trail. The snow hadn't covered the ground, but it did get to all of the trees, and made the path look beautiful. I hate how he knows what I like. I got frustrated with him because I thought he was going to ask me to marry him, so I told him no and that I had chores to do. David didn't look too upset so I went off to make myself busy. Later that night David realized that I was upset, and asked me why I didn't want to go on a walk with him. I told I really had chores to do and the reason I was upset was because Jude was being annoying. I'm so glad that David didn't question me anymore. After dinner David took to to the edge of the barn in private. He told me he wanted to ask me something if I had gone on that walk with him. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I said yes!
Our whole journey is flashing before my eyes. I cannot believe what is happening! I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend! I can tell that I am going to live a very wonderful life!
