We arrive to school, I get out of the car open Hope's door for her and hold her hand so everyone knows shes mine. Once we started to walk a group of "popular" girls started walking up to us.
"Ew look at the two lesbians how disgusting" They say laughing
At this point Hope's grip tighten on my hand and I could sense her trying not to kill them.
"Ignore it" I whisper to Hope as we try to push pass them
When we tried to push past them they ripped Hope's hand out of mine....at that moment when they touched her I snapped. I started swinging punches and cursing at them....this did nothing, out the corner of my eye I saw them start hurting Hope, pulling her hair, punching her, and a lot more....I couldn't do anything, I am nothing, I am worthless. I fall to the ground as they start kicking me. I hear the teacher run over and shew them off, but Hope was injured....badly, I was too but the only thing I was worried about was her.
*HOPE'S POV*
I feel like I can't breathe...My heart is pumping so slow, my body is covered in deep cuts and bruises. I feel like I am nothing.... Alex actually tried to help...All i did was sit there and let them hurt me....HURT HER.... At this point I looked over at Alex and she was hurt worse than me! The guy who was kicking her had fucking cleats on! I see that she is passing out as the teachers are calling the paramedics. Tears start forming in my eyes looking at how badly injured she is, but i see her look over at me.
"Hope" She says with tears falling down her face
"Alex i'm so sorry..I should have stayed away from you all i'm going to do is ruin your life."
"Hope I have dealt with this before i'll be fine....But they hurt you and that I cannot forgive myself for" She says as she grabs my hand and her eyes shut
The paramedics pull up and take me and her to the ER.
*2 WEEKS LATER*
I have made it out of the ER couple scars but everything else is healed. Alex on the other hand still has some time before she can leave so I am going to take notes for her, do her homework, bring her food, and when shes free to leave the ER I am going to surprise her with an apartment just for me and her.
"Hey baby" I say as i'm just entering her room
"You're free to go!" She says with a huge smile
"Yes and i'm going to help you everyday until your able to leave too" I say smiling back
"Are you all healed? Did the doctors hurt you? Are you okay?" She asks
This girl is the toughest yet softest girl iv'e ever met and I love her so much for it.
"Yes i'm fine and no the doctors didn't hurt me" I say as I crawl into bed next to her
"Good! I don't want my princess to be hurt" She says and follows it with a kiss on the forehead
"So why are they keeping you here anyway?" I ask confused
"The guy who kicked me with the cleats fractured my bone and gave me a minor concussion when I hit the ground"
"Oh will you be okay?" I say worried
"Yes princess I will be fine"
"Okay well when you are free to go I have a big surprise for you"
" Oh really"
"Yep, but I have to get going I will see you after school"
"Okay!"
"I love you my prince charming"
"I love you too princess"
