Hope and Alex pull into their drive way and got out of the car to head inside.
"Will we go see Nick tomorrow babe?" Hope asked concerned
"Maybe not tomorrow but for sure the day after that." Alex said back.
"Well why not tomorrow?"
"Because I have things to do tomorrow..." Alex said putting her head down so that her hair covered her face so that Hope could not see the fear in her eyes.
"Alex is everything alright?"
Alex lifts her head up acting like everything is alright when it is not, her brother almost died and her girlfriends father is dead. How could everything be alright?
"Yes Hope everything is alright, I am just tired."
"Okay but promise me if something is at matter you will notify me, no matter how scary or bad it could be."
"I cannot promise that princess.."
"Why not?"
"Because I do not want you to have to stress out about anything."
"So there is something wrong? I knew it, I knew you were no I know you are acting weird. So what is wrong?"
"WHAT IS RIGHT HOPE?! HONESTLY WHAT COULD BE RIGHT?! EVERYTHING IS HORRIBLE YOUR DAD IS DEAD AND MY BROTHER CAME SO CLOSE TO DYING! LIKE SERIOUSLY WHAT IN THE WORLD COULD GET ANY WORSE THAN THIS!? IF YOU CAN THINK OF ANYTHING THEN PLEASE TELL ME!"
"Okay Alex you need to calm down! My father made a mistake okay, he paid the price for it, and your brother is going to be fine. He is recovering really well."
"That still doesn't change the fact that my brother went through hell! He could suffer very badly from PTSD!"
"Yes Alex I understand that. But he can go to therapy for that, then be all better, like nothing ever happened."
"Hope you don't understand..."
"Yes I d-"
"JUST FORGET IT! LET'S FORGET ALL OF THIS AND JUST VISIT MY BROTHER OKAY!"
"If that is what you want babe..."
"It is for the best..."
"Can we go to bed now?"
"Yes princess..."
