*HOPES POV*
Alex eventually got me to get in the car, once we pulled up into the parking garage I knew I had already lost something....lost someone. I immediately looked at Alex in Hope she would calm me down but nothing worked. We sat silent in the car for an extra 10 minutes after being parked and ready to head inside, then Alex received a phone call.
"Hello" Alex said
"Alex?! This is mom Nick was in a car accident!" Alex's Mom said scared through the phone.
"Oh my god is he okay?" Alex said shaking.
"No he has been badly injured the nurse called and said that the man driving went through the windshield into his."
Immediately I looked at Alex and started to cry because we now knew who was the other person involved in my mom and dads car accident.
"Mom how badly is Alex injured?" Alex said worried
"Very bad they said he had a 3/10 chance of surviving." Alex's mom said
Alex stopped moving and talking she was staring at the steering wheel in disbelief. I took the phone from Alex's hand and pressed it up against my cheek.
"What happened to the man in the car?" I said shaking
"H- Hes dead... He died..They took him to the hospital but by the time they got there he had passed away."
Tears ran down my cheek into my hand that was rested on my lap. "Who's fault was it..." Hope asked angry and sad with her head looking down at her hand that was now crunched up in a ball.
"The couple in the car they were looking at google maps trying to go somewhere, and didn't see they had shifted on the other side of the road.."
"DAM IT!!" Hope screamed into the phone and then jumped out of the car and bolted to the hospital leaving Alex in the car.
"M-my baby brother..." Alex mumbled as tears ran down her face as she looked like she had just saw a ghost.
*In the hospital*
" What room are the patients from the car crash in?" Hope panicly asked the girl in the office.
"May I ask what your relation to the patients Nick Donivan, Carl Murphy, and Suzan Murphy are?"
Carl and Suzan are my parents and Nick is my girlfriends brother now where the hell are they?!"
"Room 606 for Suzan, 609 for Nick."
"What room is my father located in..."
"They put him where they put the dead bodies so he is not in a room."
Hope took off down the hall to room 606 to find her mother with a couple scratches and a broken arm.
"Mom?" Hope said as tears ran down her face.
"We were driving and we took our eyes off the road for not even a second and now look at us."
"Mom it'll be okay..."
"For heavens sake they won't even let me go see my husband, he could be dead right now."
"Mom dad....is gone....he died..." Hope said as her voice cracks a little because she is trying not to cry.
Hope's mom bursted into tears.
*ALEXS POV*
I took off out of the car into the hospital.
"WHERE IS MY BROTHER?!" Alex screamed right when she ran into the office
"Nick Donivan room 609." the office lady said
I took off down the hall way and came to the end at the door to see my brother....he was holding my moms hand.....he was dying... he might as well already be gone.
