It has been 4 months since the car crash. Nick has been recovering fairly well, Hope is cheery as usual, Alex has recovered mostly but not fully, she will always have to live with the fact that her brother almost died because of Hope's father but Alex knows that is not Hope's fault. They finally fully moved into their own house though so no one can bug them. Other than that lets get to the present day!

*ALEX'S POV*
I woke up to the feeling of Hope elbowing me in the side. I quickly moved away trying not to wake her up and headed towards the kitchen to grab a snack. it was 4am I had to leave for work in 1 hour anyways so it wasn't to annoying that Hope had woken me up.
After grabbing a apple and a granola bar I headed back to the room, turned Netflix on and put Hope's head back on the pillow because she looked to be in an uncomfortable position and I ate. Once my alarm at 5am went off Hope had woken up and I had finished off my snacks and watched 2 episodes of stranger things.
"Good morning beautiful!" I said to Hope while running my hand through her hair.
"What time is it?" She said while rubbing her eyes and smiling at me.
"Its 5am I got to go get ready for work and you haver to get up to walk the dog."
"We don't have a dog though" Hope said sitting up with a confused look on her face.
"I know. I just needed a reason to get you out of bed." I said laughing
"You're a dork. I have to go exercise anyways I am trying to get in shape."
"You're already in shape." I said looking her up and down as she stood up
"Being in shape doesn't mean just being skinny and healthy looking Alex"
"Well then I am for sure not healthy." I said laughing
"See you're a dork." She said with her adorable giggle.
We both got out of bed and headed to the bathroom to get ready. Hope washed her face while I brushed my teeth then I washed my face while she brushed her teeth. After that we brushed out hair and got our clothes on.
By the time I had to leave saying bye to Hope broke my heart, then again it does everyday when I have to tell her bye even though I know id see her when I got home sometimes there are those risks where something terrible could happen to one of us and we wouldn't see each other again.
"Bye princess.." I said with a faint smile because I didn't want to leave her side.
"Goodbye babe.." She said running up to me giving me a hug and a kiss.
"I love you!" I said with a smile
"I love you too!" She said smiling back and waving me goodbye.
