Chapter 8: Thoughts

Leo POV:

I shut the door hard behind me.

I can't believe myself.

I told her.

What am I supposed to do now?

The next morning.....

Gemini POV:

Today I'm going to avoid Leo as much as possible until I figure things out.

Good plan Gem.

I freshened myself up and left my room to get some breakfast.

But as I opened my door I saw Leo. My heart started beating super fast at the sight of him.

I quickly close the door, making sure to hide.

I really didn't want to see him today.

I only left my room until I was sure that he had already left.

"Oh hi, Virgo. Can I get some food from my room? And if you have some time today, can we talk?", I whispered.

"I can, but why are you whispering?", Virgo asked, without whispering.

"Shh, he might hear us." I cautiously looked around hoping that Leo wasn't here.

"Who?", Virgo whispered.

"Leo."

"Oh, okay, I'll send your food then, okay?",

"Yup, thank you!"

I turned around and ran to my room. But while I was running, I tripped over one of the statues. As I was falling someone grasped my waist, catching me.

"Falling for me already", Leo cockily said while helping me balance myself.

"Thanks, for catching me", I mumbled.

"What was that? Did you say something like-", Leo began.

"Oh thank you, Leo, you're my savior I love you Leo ", Leo said in a high pitched voice, mimicking me.

And I thought he had changed, nope.

Not at all.

While Leo was enjoying himself with his weird fantasy, I slowly backed away and ran into my room.

He's so weird.

But that's why I like him.

Wait, what?

No, no, no you DON't like him GEMINI!

I'm just going to wait for Virgo now...

Leo POV:

"Oh yes, I know princesses..., where did she go?"

I turned around and Gemini wasn't there.

She must have gotten embarrassed.

How cute.

I walked to my room and jumped into the bed.

I rested my hands on my forehead and sighed.

She obviously doesn't believe that I love her.

I need to prove that I love her, but not just telling her that I do.

But how?

Gemini POV:

"Um, Miss, can I come in?", Virgo said from outside the door.

"Yeah, come in", I responded.

Virgo walked in with a tray of food.

"Here", she slowly handed me the tray.

"tfank fu fo fuch", I said, stuffing a croissant into my mouth.

She smiled at me and turned around to start tidying up my room.

After a while....

"I'm done", I said after swallowing the last of my juice.

"So what did you need to talk about, Miss?" Virgo asked, taking a seat on the edge of my bed.

"Well, last night, Leo and I talked.", I began.

"And he confessed. When I questioned him afterward, he got mad, then apologized and left."

"I've been trying to figure things out and trying to avoid him. But when I bumped into him today, he acted like everything was normal. What am I supposed to do Virgo?"

Virgo looked at me with a cheesy smile.

"I knew it!", she exclaimed.

"What?"

"I knew that Leo loved you. When you escaped the castle, he got so mad. And whenever he looks at you, his eyes start sparkling. It's quite adorable", she finished.

"So you knew about this the WHOLE TIME", I raged.

"Yes", Virgo calmly replied.

Then for like 5 minutes, we were silent.

"Do you love him?", Virgo randomly asked.

"Huh?", I finally came back to reality.

"I don't know", I muttered.

"My brain says no, but my heart says yes. Every time I look at him my heart go crazy. Then I start feeling butterflies. I would say that I love him too, but I feel like there is a wall between us.", I replied shyly.

"Awww, you like him", Virgo teased.

She must some hardcore shipper or something

Plus, since when did Virgo tease people?

"Let me just tell you something, talk to him and tell him the truth tonight", she stood up from the bed and walked towards the door.

"But make sure the truth comes from your heart", she said as she left my room.

Leo POV:

"Done."

I turned around to look at the clock.

"Oh god, the time's 1:30, I have to sleep", I slowly walked to my bed.

"Leo, are you still awake? Can we talk?", I could hear Gemini calling from outside my door.

"Yeah, I'm awake come in", I groggily replied.

"Hi."

Gemini shyly walked into my room and waved.

"Hi, let's go the balcony."

We slowly walked outside.

"What do you need to talk about?", I asked.

"Um, well, uh, urm",

"Just say it quickly", I snapped.

"Your confession...", Gemini hesitantly began.

"What about it?"

The last thing I wanted to hear was that embarrassing moment yesterday.

Leo, why are you being so mean? Didn't you want to SHOW her that you love her?
