Chapter 8: Epilogue - Basketball Game

Basketball Game...

"GO ZODIACS! GO ZODIACS!"

The cheerleaders were cheering. The players were focused on the game, trying score one more point to end the tie before the time was up. Scorpio had the possession of the ball and passed it to Aries who dodged the person in front of him and dribbled the ball across the court.

Gemini was waiting on the other side of the court for the ball so he could shoot it through the hoop. Aries threw the ball to Aquarius, who caught it in the air and continued to dribble it across the court. With a few seconds left in the game, were the Zodiacs going to make it?

Libra POV:

"GO ZODIACS! GO ZODIACS!" I was waving my hands in the air while screaming my lungs out.

Intently watching the game and cheering, I swiftly moved to my position for the pyramid. Being a cheerleader was hard, you want to watch the game but you have to do all your moves carefully and correctly or else you would end up putting all your members in trouble.

Aquarius had just passed the ball to Gemini, who was getting into position for shooting, and with just five seconds left he shot the ball and everyone prayed that he got it in the hoop.

The ball entered the hoop perfectly and the buzzer screeched, making the fans go wild, leaving the cheerleaders in awe, and ending the game with the score of 45:42.

The Gemini smiled to himself as he got tackled by his team members. I stole a glance at him and realized he his eyes were looking straight at me. Then suddenly he winked, making me look like a tomato.

After the game.....

Gemini POV:

I walked into the locker room with Aquarius, Aries, and Scorpio, all of us were laughing and beaming with joy ever since we won the game. I stuffed my things into the locker and sat down on the bench to relax while the other guys washed up.  

"Gemini get up, I'm done, you can go now." Aries showed my shoulder.

"Uh? Oh right, thanks," I stuttered, waking up from my 5-minute nap. I quickly grabbed my things and headed inside.

I washed up in the showers and changed my clothes to go meet Libra. She texted me that she was waiting in the main hall. I grabbed my bag and went to go meet up with her.

"Hey, Libra!" I exclaimed as I ran to her, she was leaning against the wall and was looking at her phone.

She smiled as she turned around and waved her hands, "Hey Gemini!"

 I ran to catch up to her and gave her a quick hug. We intertwined our fingers and walked through the hall but as we were walking she slowly lifted her head to look to up at me and smiled.

This seems familiar...

"Why don't we go to the game shop?" she asked.

"Hmmm, sounds great," I said grinning.

I moved closer to her and lightly kissed her forehead as we both headed to the shop, laughing happily.
