'I hope I did not disappoint you.' Darrien whisper while they're dancing in the middle of the garden with the others. They wed on the beach and held the reception on their home much to Manang Rosa's delight. The old woman help prepared the foods and ignore the objection from everyone. At the one they let the old woman do her thing.

Marley look at him and smiled. 'No one in this room will think of that word. You outdid my expectations Darrien. Thank you for making me happy.'

'Seeing you happy makes me happy Marley.'he said and kissed her quickly on her lips.

Marley rested her cheeks on Darrien's wide chest. The music was slow and they just let their feet lead them. Sobrang saya na at pakiramdam niya ay sasabog puso niya sa sobrang kasiyahan. Lumabas si Darrien sa banyo na walang damit matapos maligo. Hinayaan niya ang tubig mula sa buhok na maglandas sa katawan niya. Napangiti siya nang makita si Marley na gising at nakasandal sa headboard nang kama at hindi inaalis ang tingin sa katawan niya.

Tiningnan siya ni Marley at nakita niya ang sunod sunod na paglunok nito. Napangiti si Darrien at dinaluhuan ito sa kama. Hahalikan na sana niya ito nang pigilan siya ni Marley. Napakunot noo siya at hinintay ang paliwanag nito. Pero imbes na sumagot at binuksan nito ang drawer sa bedside table at may kinuha.

Inabot nito akay Darrien ang hawak na parihabang kahon.

'Ano ito?' Tanong ni Darrien.

'Alam kung hindi natin napag usapan ang tungkol dito. Pero sana magustuhan mo ang wedding gift ko.'

Mas lalo lang nacurious si Darrien sa sinabi nito. Tinanggal niya ang nakataling ribbon bago binuksan ang kahon. Pansamantalang natahimik si Darrien sa nakita.Parang bang may bikig sa lalauman niya ay hindi siya makapagsalita.

'Darrien magsalita ka, please.' Kinakabahang wika ni Marley.

Tiningnan ni Darrien si Marley bago siniil nang halik.

'Akala ko ay wala nang makakapantay sa kasiyahang naramdaman ko kanina. Pero mali ako. I can't thank you enough for giving me this precious gift.'

'Hindi natin napag usapan to Darrien. Sandali ka ring natahimik akala ko ay hindi ka pa handa.'

Umiling si Darrien at pinakatitigan si Marley. 'I can't speak because of the happiness I felt Marley. I'm going to be a father and I will my best to make you and our child happy.'

'I know you will. I promise to be the best mother and wife to you and our child.Darrien.'
