It's been roughly three years now, so Logan wondered why her palms still got sickly sweaty and her heart still felt like it was going to beat its way out of her chest as she slid out of her overly expensive car and through the hallways of the ever so classy St. Rosenberg Academy
As soon as she officially entered its halls her radar was suddenly filled with the familiar smell of designer clothing and spoiled brats
And it really didn't help that she could feel every single pair of eyes carving holes into her back as she walked towards her locker
But then again that's a good thing
She bets they've all had a mouthful to say about the recent rumor going around town
Ex- Mayor John Carlton serves time for laundering of government money in West lake Village, California
Well you can't really call it a rumor, it's more of a fact now
Logan Carlton now most recently known as the cliche of West lake aka the black girl with a father behind bars
And what made everyone so mad was the fact that she didn't care
Logan didn't care that her dad was in jail
Or that her family was now the talk of the whole country
She couldn't care less that she was the recent scandal of the city
Or maybe that's just what they all thought
Because they weren't Logan so they couldn't see the tears or feel the unending pain
They knew entirely nothing about Logan Carlton and she wanted it to stay that way
