Nick

I place my hood on my head, to avoid all eye contact with anyone. I place my bike keys into my pocket and walk into the shop.

I walk up to the counter and place down the earrings. “How much do I get for these?”

The worker grabs the earrings and examine them. “I can give you fourty five.”

“I'll take it.” I exchange the diamond earrings for the cash and leave. I ride up to the gas station to fill up my bike. I pull out a cigarette from my back pocket, and lit it.

I exhale the toxic. I peer through the side of my hood and watch people walk by. An older guy leaned against his Honda as he tank fills, watching the numbers rise higher and higher.

A female, mother of four, yelled at her arguing and fighting children while pumping her gas.

A white convertible than pulls up to the tank next to mine. A girl, with brown curly, wavy hair steps out. She wore cowboy boots, a short denim shorts, and a bluish gray tank top.

My first thought was to sweet talk her. Tell her what she wanted to hear, flash a couple smiles, and all that fake shit. Then take her back to Joe's crib, and-

She smiles at me. I didn't even realize I was staring so hard. I didn't smile back. Her perfect smile, and shiny blue eyes were all to familiar. I had seen them before, on a different girl, on a better girl.

“Why are you staring at me like that?” She asked, letting the sand slip through her fingers.

“Because your beautiful.” I smile at her.

     “Tell me something I don't

know.” She playfully flips her hair.

“Okay.” I ignore her sarcasm. “I love you.” I spit out, without thinking. That was a pause, for she didn't know what to say. Her beautiful, blue eyes had widen.

“I'm sorry Miles,” I break the silence. “I don't know why I said that, I just..” I trail off.

“You meant it?” She guessed. I nodded. “I love you too.” She said, shocking herself more than me.

   “Really?” I say.

She nodded. “I meant it.”  She smiles her perfect smile, get shinty blue eyes sparking more than ever.

“Nothing will every come between us.” She entwined our hands.

The pop from the gas tank had, awoken me. I suddenly felt sick. I flick the cigarette on the ground before smashing my foot into it. I took one last look at the mysterious blue eyed girl, I didn't want her any more.

I didn't want any blue eyed girls. Especially blue eyed girls, with brown hair.

“Nick, please stop.” She begged me, fresh tears falling from her face. “Why are you doing this to me?” Her beautiful blue eyes, were filled with fear, and sadness. Caused by me.

I suddenly felt sick. I pull the gas bump from my motorcycle, and return to the station. With my mind still in Miley, I suddenly could feel thick liquid rising in the back of my throat.

I stumble to the opposite side of my bike, and place my hands on my knees. The vomits escapes my mouth, leaving an burning nasty after taste in my throat. I hold down my stomach, for it feels like it's coming apart inside.
