New beginnings.

Chapter 1

The wind rustled in the background, the raindrops pitter and splash as people walk by. Umbrellas all around as everyone gathered on this dark and stormy day. Today was the day of my father's funeral, he recently passed away due to a work incident. I couldn't talk, my breathing became irregular and short; tears streamed down my freckled face as I stared directly at his grave. He's gone now. My father, the one who introduced me to many of my interests, the one who loved me no matter if I missed school, the one who gave me hope, the one who's gone now. Everyone stood saddened, the rain pouring down hitting my pink umbrella. I couldn't accept this; I wouldn't accept it. As everyone started to pile out, my family started chatting to each other, but I paid them no attention, I didn't need to listen, not that I wanted to anyways.

A week later

I had to go back to school, but I didn't want to, I never do. But I decided to, because I needed to get my mind off of the death of my father. As I readied myself for school I looked at myself in the mirror 'I look like trash' I thought. Shaking my head and trying to rid of that thought I started to tie my hair. As I grabbed my bag and toast I started to go to school. I walked into the canteen starting to open my laptop up, that was until I got interrupted by someone. "Hello?" The girl asked. She had long golden locks that went down to her waist, shining chartreuse eyes, light pale skin. I'd never seen her before; she must've been new. But she wore something different to us, instead of a red uniform, it was sky blue.
