Experiment gone wrong.

I looked at what approached me, it seemed to be a person of some sort? I can't actually tell, it's been abused and mangled to the point that you couldn't tell what it was. It only let out hurt groans and yelps, but upon hearing 'it's' voice; it sounded like a young girl. Not only that, she also seemed to have a short body? Or whatever she is.

I called out to her; assuming 'it's' a her; and watched her crawl over here. Whatever this thing was, she didn't seem to be hostile at all, which was good.

My name is  ------ ------  and I am a scientist, I experiment and investigate many things. Little did I know, this was gonna be one of my greatest discoveries.

Couple of years later.

I am still taking care of 'her'; all of her scars have healed, and all of the dirty and mangled parts of her have been cleaned and fixed up. But the strange thing about her was her bright blue hair, due to her being covered in muck and dirt, I couldn't see these feature of hers. She had bright emerald green eye's and lot's of beautiful freckles; she also was quite pale, as if she had never seen the sunlight.

I decided to name her Azurite due to her bright blue hair and bright green eye's. I decided that now, or I assume she is;  is old enough to go through some experiments. I wasn't cruel, I was more.... curious about this, as it's physically impossible to have bright blue hair that's not dyed. As Azurite came over to me, I comforted her while telling her that she was going to do some tests.

More years later.

I looked at my hands in guilt, guilt that could kill any person. I killed my own child. She wasn't my actual child, but I had adopted her into my care.... And now she's gone. At least I found the information I wanted. She wasn't normal, she seemed to be created, as an experiment. Something that I would make.

I felt content with my answers, the longer I looked at her lifeless dead body, the less I felt any remorse, instead, I wanted more. I wanted to experiment more on people. I wanted more information on the world, on abnormal people. I needed to explore more, maybe adopt more children, who knows.

20 years later.

I looked at the bloody operating table.

"There goes another one."  I said in annoyance.

I was trying to test out my creation that I made on a child. But sadly that child didn't make it, as well as the next, and the next, and the rest.

"Maybe I should test an adult instead."
