"We're not strangers! Strange maybe, but not strangers!" Chris chuckled.
"Does that notebook belong to one of you?" Balz asked. Bay nodded. Both of them focused on eachother. Bay, much like Marnie, was shocked at how social she was being concidering she hadn't known these people for more than half an hour.
"It's mine." Bay smiled. Balz gestured for her to follow him. Ricky gave Balz, what looked to Bay, like a warning look a they passed him.
"I did look at a couple of the drawings. Sorry." Balz smiled nervouly. Josh had lead them to what looked to be his bedroom. Bay's face paled slightly.
"D-Did you r-read anything?" She asked, praying that he hadn't.
"Oh lord no! I'm not that nosey!" He smiled and handed Bay her notebook. "Oh and by the way, you are an amazing artist." He smiled. Bay's cheeks flushed and Balz chuckled.
"Don't laugh at my shame." She chuckled in a small voice and looked down at her feet. She felt a hand under her chin and her head was lifted, coming face to face with Josh's.
"It's not shame, Bay. Your drawing skills are amazing! I love the rose!" He smiled, genuinely. Bay smiled back as he took his hand away from her chin and put it back in his pocket.
"You're sweet, Josh but they're not that good; just doodles." Bay shrugged.
"If that's a doodle, I'd like to see the final copy!" He stated and walked out of the room, closely followed by Bay. They decended the stairs, Bay holding the notebook close to her chest. Now she finally had it back, she didn't want to lose it again. They reached the bottom of the stair and were greeted by Marnie and Chris.
"We best be getting back. Beau's probably worried!" Marnie declared, looking between Josh and Bay.
"Who's Beau?" Chris asked before Josh did.
"Our best mate!" Bay smiled. Whenever her or Marnie mentioned Beau, everyone always presumed he was one of their boyfriends so it was nice for someone not to jump to that conclusion. Chris and Balz nodded.
"So i guess we'll see you around then?" Josh smiled, hopefully at Bay. she nodded and said good bye to Chris and Ricky before her and Marnie left.
"Josh so has a thing for you!" Marnie giggled jokingly. Bay smacked her arm, blushed and laughed along. The friendly banter continued until they came level with Beau's driveway. Without knocking, they walked in and were both tackled in a hug.
"Where the fuck have you been!? I was getting worried!" Beau yelled like a paniced brother.
"The guys that moved into Mum's house just so happened to be one of my favourite bands!" Bay giggled, pointing to her T-shirt.
"Ooooh! So Bay had a bit of a fangirl then?" Beau chuckled. Bay punched his arm and walked up the stairs.
"Night fuckers!" She yelled over her shoulder. They both grunted 'good night's and went back to whatever they were doing. Bay changed into the pajamas she had been wearing before Marnie had told her to change and climbed under the duvet on her bed. She sat up, her back resting against the hard, wooden head board with her notebook resting on her lap. She leant over to the night stand and picked up the black biro that lay there.

I found it! I really need to take better care of this thing but, on the upside I met some awesome dudes today thanks to this notebook! Marnie thinks Balz has, and i quote 'a thing for me'. Bullshit. I mean look at me: I haven't slept properly in days, my lips are chapped, my hair's matted slightly from lack of me brushing it because i was busy sorting Mum's shit out and I barely spoke to him because I'm so fucking awkward! What guy, in their right mind would like a girl like that? The one that's always on her own because everyone's afraid that if they talk to her she'll have a panic attack. The one that was never bullied because no-one ever noticed her enough to care. Yeah, that's right, you all make a huge deal out of being bullied and picked on but, to tell you the truth, I would do anything to be talked to, to be noticed whether it be in a negative way or not. I've always been the one people never knew existed; sitting in the back of class with my headphones in, oblivious to the world. I've always been and always will be a shadow in the darkness; I'm there but no-one can tell.
I have to say though, with that said, when Josh told me he liked the drawing i did of the rose, my heart did flutter a little but he's in one of my favourite bands so why wouldn't it? I was just thankful he didn't read anything! He would probably never want to speak to me again...or put me in a mental home... Anyways, I'm gonna go to bed now so talk to you, who ever you are, later
Until next time
Bay xx
Bay put the lid on the pen and sighed. Writing all her feelings down in one hit really took it out of her. She lay back in her bed and closed her eyes. Sleep soon took over her small body.
