"You guys know each other?" Kendall asked, looking between the two.
"Yeah... Me and the band have just moved into Bay's old house." Josh smiled, looking up at Bay. Bay blushed slightly and looked down at her feet.
"Oh awesome! I think I've got Chris booked in for a tat next week!" Kendall smiled. Balz nodded and stood up from the leather chair he had been sat in.
"So why are you here then?" Josh asked, displaying a genuine interest.
"To get my sleeve finished!" Bay smiled. Balz nodded and looked at her arm. He complimented her on the half finished sleeve and smiled.
"Did you design that?" He asked, already knowing Bay had an interest in art.
"Mostly but Kendall helped." She nodded over to Kendall and he winked at her.
"Let's get started then! Sit yo ass down!" Kendall ordered. Bay saluted him and sat on the chair. Balz chuckled and watched as Kendall prepped Bay's skin and continued with the waterfall. Bay cringed a couple of times as the pen danced over her skin, creating the detailed picture. Josh sat down in the chair opposite and smiled at Bay. Bay knew he was watching her but didn't look up in fear of making eye contact with him. No matter how much she thought about him, he was still a person she hadn't known long.
"Ok, all done! You know the drill!" Kendall said as he cleaned the tip of the pen and took the ink out. Bay nodded and noticed that Josh hadn't moved from where he was sat. Why did he stay for almost an hour, watching her? Most people would have found it weird but, to Bay, it was sweet. She was never fond of being the center of attention but this was, in some way, different.
"Do you have many tattoo's?" Josh asked as they walked out the little room and down the hallway.
"A few... I have the Lord of the Rings broach on the top of my foot, this sleeve and..." She paused, debating on whether to tell him or not.
"And what?" He asked.
"..and 'Finding hope in the hopeless' across my shoulder blades." Bay blushed. Balz chuckled and then smiled down at her.
"Why are you blushing? I think it's cool!" He reasured.
"It's kind of hard not to blush when the guy that had a hand in writing one of your favourite songs is stood next to you." Bay laughed. Josh shrugged and laughed along with her. They passed one other room; the piercing room before they got to the door that led back into the main body of the shop. Josh opened the door and let Bay walk through first and nodded her thanks.
"Right gentleman you got there Bay! He's a keeper!" Beau yelled. Josh laughed and Bay did to but only after glaring at Beau and blushing furiouly.
"You must be Beau" Josh smiled and shook Beau's hand.
"The one and only! Josh right?" Beau asked.
"Yeah but everyone calls me Balz. Nice to meet you!" They exchanged a few more pleasantries before the small bell of the door rang, everyone turned to see the rest of Motionless In White in all their leather glory.
"Bay! Marnie!" Chris grinned, pulling them both into a tight, friendly hug. Once they'd hugged Ricky Chris turned to face his bandmates.
"Guys, this is Marnie and Bay, they're the people we bought the house off of!" He said, pointing to each of them in turn. All the guys nodded and introduced themselves, shaking hands with the girls.
"So why are you guys here?" Chris asked. Everyone was submerged in their own convasations by now.
"I just got my sleeve finished and Marnie had nothing better to do." Bay chuckled. They talked for about 5 minutes or so before Kendall walked through the door that led to the back.
"Oh hey guys! Long time no see!" Kendall smiled and bro hugged all the guys.
"So what can i do for you?" He then asked anyone who had an answer.
"Nothing, I don't think, we're just here to pick up Josh and then we were going to head to the studio." Ricky chipped in. He hadn't really spoken much since they'd arrived and Chris had noticed. Kendall started talking to the others about the album so Chris took that as a perfect opitunity to ask him what was up. He grabbed Ricky's arm and pulled him aside so they couldn't be heard.
"What up with you? You haven't said barely anything since we arrived." Chris asked. Ricky just shook his head and walked back over to the group. Chris sighed, Ricky always did this: Suddenly got really quiet and subdued then wouldn't tell anybody why. Chris sighed and followed Ricky's lead. As he got close to the group, they were talking about tour and telling Kendall, Beau, Bay and Marnie about the new album and the recording process. Chris noticed how interested Bay and Marnie looked and decided to go out on a wim.
"Do you guys want to tag along today? We only have two more song to record." Chris asked. Bay face lit up.
"Can we?" Bay asked, looking up at Chris with hopeful eyes.
"Sure! So long as the other guys don't mind?" Chris phased it as a question, looking over to his band mates for the answer. They all nodded and Ricky just shrugged.
"Ok then! Well if we meet at ours in about 20 minutes then we can show you were it is." Chris smiled. Bay and Marnie nodded and turned to Beau and Kendall.
"We'll see you guys later ok?" Marnie smiled at them both. They nodded and went back to sorting out equipment and paper work. They all exchanged 'see you later's and parted ways; Chris, Ricky, Balz, Ang, Ryan and Ghost all walking down the road to the left of the shop and Bay and Marnie turning down the right side.
